Hoseok POV
As Y/n walked into the meeting hall, I was struck by her breathtaking beauty. The black blazer hugged her curves perfectly, accentuating her slender waist and toned shoulders. But it was the black formal shirt beneath that truly caught my attention.
The first two buttons were undone, revealing a tantalizing glimpse of her creamy skin. The collar framed her neck, drawing my gaze to the delicate silver chain that adorned it. The subtle gleam of the metal seemed to emphasize the elegance of her neck, making my pulse quicken.
My eyes roamed lower, tracing the curves of her hips as they swayed gently with each step. The clicking of her black heels on the polished floor was like music, a rhythmic beat that echoed through my veins.
And then our eyes met.
Y/n adjusted her glasses, her gaze locking onto mine with a sly smirk.
I felt my control slipping.
My heart pounded in my chest.
My body reacted instinctively.
I almost lost myself.
For a moment, I forgot about the meeting.
Forgot about everything.
Except her.
I opened my mouth to speak, and the words almost betrayed me.
"Good m-morning, Mrs. Je-"
I froze.
Why did I almost call her that?
The realization hit me like a ton of bricks.
It was because, for a fleeting moment, I saw her as my wife.
'No, Hoseok, snap out of it!' I scolded myself. 'You're being delusional. She's not yours. Not even close.'
I cleared my throat, trying to compose myself.
"Good morning, Ms. Kim," I said finally.
But the damage was done.
I knew I was in trouble.
Y/n's smile was polite, but her eyes sparkled with amusement.
"Good morning, Mr. Jeong," she replied.
I took my seat, trying to shake off the lingering tension.
Throughout the meeting, I found myself stealing glances at Y/n.
Her poise, her intelligence, her beauty...it all left me breathless.
But I couldn't let my emotions get the better of me.
Not now.
Not when everything was at stake.
____________
As the meeting concluded, I knew I had to take a risk.
"Ms. Kim, a word?" I asked.
Her eyes narrowed, her expression guarded.
"Yes, Mr. Jeong?"
I leaned in.
"I'd like to discuss...details. Over lunch."
Y/n's hesitation was palpable.
"I'm not sure that's necessary, Mr. Jeong," she said.
I smiled.
"I think it's crucial, Ms. Kim. There are...aspects we haven't discussed."
Jungkook's presence loomed.
