Y/n POV
After the ceremony, everyone gathered, laughing and taking pictures. Me, Hoseok, Taehyung, and Jungkook posed together, capturing memories. As we smiled for the camera, I spotted my brothers, Jin and Joon, standing afar. Their eyes locked onto mine, and I waved them over.
"Oppa's!" I exclaimed, rushing towards them. "Take pictures with us!" But they softly declined, their expressions tinged with sadness. "Enjoy your time with them, Y/n," Jin said. "You'll leave today." I nodded, understanding. We shared a brief hug before I turned back to rejoin my friends.
But Hoseok was nowhere to be found. Scanning the crowd, my eyes landed on him. And my heart skipped a beat. Jiyeon was pulling Hoseok away, her grip on his arm. What was happening? I rushed towards them, but was stopped in my tracks.
Jungkook's tall figure blocked my path. "Where were you?" Jungkook asked. "I went to see Jin and Joon," I replied. "Hoseok's looking for you," Jungkook said. The image of Hoseok running behind Jiyeon flashed in my mind. A shiver ran down my spine.
"I'm looking for him too," I said. "I just saw him going inside." Jungkook's expression turned serious. "I'll come with you," he insisted. I nodded, gratitude washing over me. Together, we navigated through the crowd.
What was Jiyeon doing with Hoseok?
And why did he look so troubled?
My heart raced with questions. As we entered the venue, I scanned the area.
Where were they?
And what secrets were they hiding?
We weaved through the crowd, Jungkook's long strides matching my hurried pace. "Jiyeon was with him," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. Jungkook's eyes narrowed. "What happened?" he asked.
"I don't know," I admitted. "She was pulling him away." Jungkook's expression turned thoughtful. We entered the venue, scanning the area. The hall was emptying, graduates and families dispersing.
"Where could they be?" I wondered aloud. Jungkook spotted something. "Look," he said, nodding toward the exit.
Just then, I spotted them. But the sight broke my heart. I saw Hoseok kissing Jiyeon. My world crashed around me.
Jungkook appeared beside me, his eyes fixed on the scene. His face contorted in rage. "Jiyeon," he growled.
I looked at Jungkook, boiling with anger. Of course, why not? Jiyeon was his girlfriend, after all. How could she cheat on him? With someone already taken? That thought stung me deeper.
I felt a pang of betrayal. Hoseok, how could you? Jungkook took a step forward. I grabbed his arm. "Wait," I whispered.
But Jungkook shook me off. "Let go, Y/n," he warned. His eyes blazed with fury. This was about to escalate. Fast.
Jungkook's voice was low and menacing. "I need to talk to her." I released his arm, and he stormed towards Jiyeon and Hoseok. Jiyeon's eyes widened as Jungkook approached, her face pale. Hoseok stepped back, guilt etched on his face.
"Jungkook, I—" Hoseok began.
"No, Hoseok," Jungkook cut him off. "You have no right to explain." Jiyeon trembled, tears welling up in her eyes. "Jungkook, please—" "Save it," Jungkook spat.
His anger was palpable, and I feared it would boil over. When Hoseok's eyes met mine, he took steps towards me.
But I was furious. "HOW COULD YOU, HOSEOK?" I yelled, my voice echoing through the hallway.
