Hoseok POV
I sat in silence, my tears finally drying on my cheeks. Taehyung's words still echoed in my mind: "We'll talk to Jungkook. Try to convince him to forgive you."
Taehyung stood, his expression soft. "I'll give you space," he said.
I nodded, feeling a mix of relief and gratitude. "Thanks, Tae," I whispered.
Taehyung nodded and turned to leave. I watched him go, the door closing behind him.
The silence was oppressive. I thought about Y/n, her gentle smile and her laughter. How I had hurt her.
Regret and longing swirled in my chest. Could I really make amends? Or was it too late?
The uncertainty gnawed at me. I slumped back into the couch, exhausted.
My eyes wandered around the empty room. The memories of my mistakes haunted me.
I buried my face in my hands. What had I done? Would I ever find redemption?
The darkness closed in around me. I was alone, lost in my thoughts.
Time passed, but I didn't move. My mind was trapped in a cycle of guilt and regret.
Just then, Jimin entered the apartment, a curious expression on his face. "Hey, who was the boy who came out of our apartment?" he asked.
I hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. But Jimin's concerned gaze prompted me to open up.
"It was Taehyung," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
Jimin's eyes widened. "Taehyung? What was he doing here?"
But before I could answer, Jimin's gaze dropped to my face. "Hoseok, were you crying?" he exclaimed.
I gave him a slight nod, feeling a lump form in my throat.
Jimin's expression softened. He came and sat beside me on the couch.
"What happened?" he asked gently.
I took a deep breath, letting it all out. "Taehyung and Jungkook came over."
Jimin's eyebrows furrowed. "Jungkook? I didn't see him."
"You might not have seen him since he left a while ago," I explained. "But the one you saw on your way here was Taehyung. He's Y/n's best friend. They're so close, since childhood."
Jimin's eyes widened in understanding. "And Jungkook?"
"Jungkook was Y/n's bodyguard," I continued. "She used to get bullied, so Taehyung and Y/n's brothers, Jin and Joon, decided to hire him to protect her."
Jimin listened attentively, his expression empathetic.
When I finished, he turned to me with a gentle smile.
"Hey, do you want to talk about it?" he asked softly.
I looked up at Jimin, his concern and care wrapping around me like a warm blanket.
I hesitated, unsure if I was ready to dive deeper into my emotions.
Jimin's gentle gaze encouraged me. "I'm here for you, Hoseok," he said.
I took a deep breath and nodded slightly.
"Taehyung and Jungkook came over," I began. "They want to forgive me and go back to how things were before."
Jimin's eyebrows rose in surprise. "Really?"
I nodded, still trying to process it. "Y/n told Taehyung to forgive me, to be friends again like before."
