Hoseok POV

I was lying in bed, scrolling through my phone, when it suddenly rang. I smiled as I saw Y/n's name on the screen. I answered the call, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation.

"Hey, Babe!" Y/n said, her voice bright and cheerful.

I smiled, feeling happy to hear her voice. "Hey, beautiful," I replied. "How was your day?"

We chatted for a bit, catching up on each other's days. Y/n told me about her work and her friends, and I listened intently, happy to hear her voice.

But as the conversation continued, I started to feel a bit frustrated. Y/n was asking me questions about my plans for the future, and I didn't feel like talking about it.

"Hoseok, come on, tell me what's going on," Y/n said, her voice a bit more insistent. "You're being really secretive lately."

I sighed, feeling a bit annoyed. "Y/n, I told you, I'm just not ready to talk about it yet," I said, trying to keep my tone light.

But Y/n wasn't having it. "That's not fair, Hoseok," she said, her voice a bit sharper. "We're in a relationship, and I deserve to know what's going on with you."

I felt a pang of guilt at her words. I knew I had been distant and secretive lately, and I didn't mean to hurt Y/n's feelings.

"Y/n, I'm sorry," I said, trying to placate her. "I just need some time to figure some things out, okay?"

Y/n's voice was still a bit sharp, but I could tell she was trying to calm down. "Fine," she said. "But please, Hoseok, don't shut me out. I care about you, and I want to be there for you."

I felt a sense of relief wash over me at her words. I knew I had been pushing Y/n away, and I didn't mean to hurt her.

"I'm sorry, Y/n," I said again, trying to make amends. "I promise I'll try to be more open with you, okay?"

Y/n's voice was soft and gentle. "I love you, Hoseok," she said.

My heart skipped a beat at her words. "I love you too, Y/n," I said, feeling a sense of gratitude towards her.

We said our goodbyes, and I hung up the phone, feeling a bit more at peace. I knew I still had some things to work through, but with Y/n by my side, I felt like I could face anything.

I couldn't shake off the feeling that I had hurt Y/n's feelings. I knew I had been distant and secretive lately, and I didn't mean to make her feel like she wasn't important to me.

I thought about calling her back, but I decided against it. I didn't want to disturb her, and I knew she needed her rest.

Instead, I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling and thinking about our conversation. I knew I needed to be more open with Y/n, to let her in and share my thoughts and feelings with her.

As I drifted off to sleep, I made a mental note to myself to do better, to be more present and communicative in our relationship. I knew it wouldn't be easy, but I was willing to try, for Y/n and for us.

_____________

The next morning, I woke up feeling a bit more refreshed. I checked my phone and saw that Y/n had sent me a text message. My heart skipped a beat as I read her words.

"Hey, Babe. Just wanted to check in and make sure you're doing okay. Love you."

I smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. I knew that Y/n cared about me, and that she was willing to work through our issues together.

I typed out a response, trying to convey my feelings and thoughts. "Hey, I'm doing okay, just a bit stressed out. But I'm thinking about you and missing you. Love you too."

I sent the message and waited for Y/n's response. As I waited, I couldn't help but feel grateful for our relationship, for the love and support we gave each other.

As I waited for Y/n's response, I couldn't help but think about our relationship. We had been together for a while now, and I had grown to love her more and more each day. But despite our strong feelings for each other, I knew that we still had our issues to work through.

I thought about our conversation the night before, and how I had shut her down when she tried to talk to me about my feelings. I knew that I had hurt her, and I felt bad about it.

Just as I was starting to feel guilty, my phone buzzed with an incoming text from Y/n.

"Hey, I'm glad you're doing okay," she said. "I was worried about you last night. Can we talk more about what's going on?"

I smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. I knew that Y/n cared about me, and that she was willing to listen to me and help me work through my issues.

"Yeah, I'd like that," I said, typing out a response. "I'm sorry again for shutting you down last night. I know I wasn't very open with you, and I promise to do better in the future."

Y/n's response came quickly. "I know you will," she said. "I love you, Hoseok."

I smiled, feeling a sense of happiness wash over me. "I love you too, Y/n," I said, typing out a response.

Y/n's next message came quickly. "So, when do you want to talk more about what's going on?" she asked. "I'm free whenever you are."

I hesitated, feeling a bit guilty. I knew Y/n was eager to talk and work through our issues, but I was honestly feeling a bit overwhelmed. Between work and other commitments, my schedule had been packed lately.

"To be honest, I'm kind of busy lately," I said, typing out a response. "Can we talk when I'm a bit more free?"

There was a pause before Y/n responded. "Okay, that's fine," she said. "But promise me you'll make time for me soon. I miss talking to you, Hoseok."

I smiled, feeling a pang of affection for Y/n. "I promise," I said, typing out a response. "I'll make time for you soon. And I miss talking to you too, Y/n."

Y/n sent me a string of heart emojis, and I couldn't help but chuckle. "I love you," she said.

"I love you too," I replied, feeling a sense of warmth in my chest.

We chatted for a bit longer, exchanging sweet nothings and affectionate messages. As we talked, I felt my stress and anxiety melting away. Talking to Y/n always made me feel better.

Eventually, we said our goodbyes and promised to catch up again soon. As I put down my phone and settled in for the night, I couldn't help but feel grateful for Y/n. She was my rock, my confidante, and my soulmate.

As I put down my phone after chatting with Y/n, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. It was nice to clear the air and reconnect with her.

Just then, I heard a knock at the door. I got out of bed and opened it to find Jimin standing there with a bright smile on his face.

"Morning, Hoseok!" he said, walking into the room. "How's it going?"

I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, feeling a bit groggy. "Morning, Jimin," I replied. "I'm doing okay, just got off the phone with Y/n."

Jimin's eyes lit up with amusement. "Ah, I see," he said, grinning. "I'm sure that was a very serious and not-at-all-flirtatious conversation."

I rolled my eyes, laughing. "Shut up, Jimin," I said, throwing a pillow at him.

Jimin dodged the pillow and chuckled. "Anyway, enough about Y/n for now," he said, glancing at his watch. "We've got a big meeting today, and I need to make sure you're prepared."

I nodded, feeling a surge of focus. "Right, let's get to it," I said, heading to the bathroom to start getting ready.

Jimin followed me, chatting about the meeting and what I needed to do to prepare. I listened intently, feeling grateful for my friend and secretary. Jimin always knew how to keep me on track.
