Y/n POV
As the evening drew to a close, I stood up, stretching my arms over my head. "I'm going to head to bed," I announced, yawning. "It's been a long day."
Jin nodded, standing up as well. "I'll walk you to your room," he said, offering me his arm.
I smiled, taking his arm. "Thanks, Jin."
As we walked to my room, Jungkook and Yoongi called out goodnights, while Jisoo waved sleepily from the couch.
Once we reached my room, Jin turned to me, his expression serious. "Get some rest, Princess," he said. "You've got a big day ahead of you tomorrow."
I nodded, feeling a surge of gratitude towards my brother. "Thanks, Jin," I said, smiling up at him. "I appreciate everything you do for me."
Jin smiled back, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Anytime, Princess," he said. "I'm always here for you."
With that, he leaned in and kissed my forehead, before turning and heading back down the hallway.
I watched him go, feeling grateful for my brother's unwavering support and love. Then, with a happy sigh, I turned and headed into my room, ready to get some well-deserved rest.
As I settled into bed, my phone suddenly buzzed on my nightstand. I picked it up, and my heart skipped a beat as I saw Hoseok's name on the screen. My eyes lit up with excitement as I quickly answered the call.
"Hey, Babe," I greeted him, trying to sound casual despite the butterflies in my stomach.
Hoseok's warm, raspy voice came through the line, making me feel all fuzzy inside. "Hey, beautiful. How was your day?"
I snuggled under the blankets, feeling cozy and happy. "It was long, but I made it through. How about you? How was your day?"
Hoseok paused for a moment before responding, his tone a bit more subdued than usual. "It was fine. Just busy with work and stuff."
I sensed a bit of distance in his tone, but I tried not to read too much into it. "Oh, okay. Well, I'm glad you're doing well. I missed you today."
There was another pause before Hoseok responded, his voice a bit softer this time. "I missed you too, beautiful. But I'm glad you're doing okay. How's Jin and the others?"
I filled him in on the day's events, telling him about the investor meeting and Jin's stress about it. Hoseok listened attentively, asking questions and making supportive noises. But despite his efforts, I couldn't shake the feeling that he was holding something back.
As we chatted, I tried to steer the conversation back to us, asking him about his plans for the upcoming week and if he had any free time so we could talk. But Hoseok's responses were vague and noncommittal, leaving me feeling a bit frustrated and unsure.
Despite the distance I sensed in his tone, I didn't want the conversation to end. I was happy to just listen to Hoseok's voice and feel connected to him, even from a distance.
As the conversation drew to a close, I asked him again if everything was okay, sensing that something was bothering him. But Hoseok just reassured me that everything was fine, and that he would talk to me soon.
With that, we said our goodbyes, and I hung up the phone, feeling a bit uncertain and worried about what was going on with Hoseok.
As I lay in bed, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off with Hoseok. He had seemed distant and preoccupied during our conversation, and I couldn't help but wonder what was bothering him.
I tried to push the thoughts aside and focus on getting some rest, but my mind kept wandering back to Hoseok. I thought about all the times we had talked and laughed together, and how much I had grown to care for him.
As I drifted off to sleep, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. I hoped that everything was okay with Hoseok, and that he would open up to me soon.

The next morning, I woke up feeling a bit more refreshed, but still with a lingering sense of worry about Hoseok. I got dressed and headed to the kitchen to make some breakfast, hoping that a good cup of coffee and some food would help clear my head.
As I was cooking, Jin walked into the kitchen, looking a bit more relaxed than he had the day before. "Morning, Princess," he said, giving me a gentle smile. "How are you doing today?"
I smiled back at him, feeling grateful for my brother's concern. "I'm doing okay, Jin. Just a bit worried about Hoseok. He seemed a bit off when we talked last night."
Jin's expression turned serious, and he nodded thoughtfully. "I'm sure he's fine, Princess. He's just probably stressed with work and stuff. But if you're worried, you should talk to him again and see how he's doing."
I nodded, feeling a bit better after talking to Jin. Maybe he was right, and Hoseok was just stressed with work. I made a mental note to call him again later and check in on him.
As I finished making breakfast, the others started to stir, and soon the kitchen was filled with the sound of chatter and laughter. I smiled, feeling grateful for my friends and the sense of camaraderie we shared.
But despite the warmth and laughter surrounding me, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off with Hoseok. I hoped that he would open up to me soon, and that everything would be okay.
___________
Later that night, we all trudged into the dorm, exhausted from a long day at the company. I headed straight to my room to change into something comfortable, shedding my formal attire for a cozy pair of pajamas.
As I emerged from my room, I announced that I was skipping dinner, too tired to even think about food. But Jin, ever the caring brother, refused to listen.
"Kook, can you make some sandwiches for Y/n and me?" he called out to Jungkook, who was lounging on the couch.
Jungkook nodded and headed into the kitchen, while I settled in beside Yoongi, who was also changed into comfortable clothes. We chatted quietly as we waited for Jungkook to return with our sandwiches.
When he emerged from the kitchen, bearing a tray laden with delicious-looking sandwiches, I couldn't help but smile. Jin handed me a sandwich and a glass of water, and I took a grateful bite, savoring the flavors.
As we ate, the conversation turned to our plans for the next day, and I found myself zoning out, my mind already turning to the phone call I planned to make to Hoseok later.
As soon as I finished my sandwich, I stood up, yawning. "I'm going to bed early tonight, guys. I'm exhausted."
Jin nodded, smiling. "Get some rest, Princess. You deserve it."
I smiled back at him, feeling grateful for my brother's concern. "Thanks, Jin. Goodnight, everyone."
With that, I headed off to my room, my heart already racing with anticipation of my upcoming phone call with Hoseok.
