Y/n POV
As the night drew close, Jin brought out a steaming hot tray of food into the living room. "I cooked your favorite dish," he said with a smile. "Spicy, just the way you like it."
I smiled, feeling grateful for Jin's thoughtfulness. Yoongi and I were in the middle of discussing some important business matters. We were going over the company's meetings and brainstorming ways to prevent losses.
"We need to cut costs and increase productivity," Yoongi said, his brow furrowed in concentration.
"I agree," I replied. "But we also need to make sure we're not sacrificing quality in the process."
Yoongi nodded thoughtfully. "You're right. We need to find a balance."
Jungkook was sitting nearby, quietly observing our conversation. He didn't say a word, but his growling stomach spoke volumes about his hunger.
Just then, Jisoo walked out of the kitchen with Jin, carrying plates and spoons. "Dinner's ready!" she announced, smiling.
We all gathered around the table, eager to dig in. The delicious aroma of Jin's cooking filled the air, and my stomach growled in anticipation.
Jin began to serve the food, and we all waited patiently for our turn. Jungkook was practically drooling, his eyes fixed on the spicy dish.
Finally, Jin handed me a plate, and I took a bite of the spicy food. The flavors exploded in my mouth, and I couldn't help but let out a satisfied sigh.
"This is amazing, Jin," I said, my mouth still full.
Jin smiled, looking pleased. "I'm glad you like it."
We all chatted and laughed as we ate, enjoying the warm and cozy evening. The spicy food and comfortable atmosphere made for a perfect night in.
As we finished our meal, Jisoo started clearing the table. "I'll take care of the dishes," she said with a smile.
Jin helped her gather the plates and utensils, while Yoongi settled in on the couch to relax.
I decided to join him, feeling content and full after the delicious meal. Jungkook sat down beside me, smiling as he always did.
As the night wore on, Yoongi mentioned a meeting he had scheduled with a potential client. Jin and Jisoo shared their own insights and experiences, and we all chatted and laughed together.
Just then, Jungkook spoke up. "I'm still hungry," he said, his eyes scanning the room for any remaining food.
Yoongi rolled his eyes. "You're always hungry," he teased.
Jin chuckled from the kitchen, where he was helping Jisoo with the dishes. "I think we can manage to scrounge up some dessert," he said.
Jisoo smiled. "I made some ice cream earlier. Would you like some?"
Jungkook's eyes lit up. "Yes, please!"
We all laughed and joked as Jisoo brought out the ice cream. It was a sweet and creamy treat, the perfect way to cap off a lovely evening.
As we enjoyed our ice cream, the conversation turned to our favorite TV shows and movies. We all shared our recommendations and opinions, laughing and joking together.
As the evening drew to a close, we all decided to watch a movie together. Jin picked out a film, and we all settled in on the couch to watch.
The movie was a comedy, and we all laughed and joked throughout. Jungkook sat beside me, smiling and laughing along with the rest of us.
As the movie ended, we all said our goodbyes and headed off to bed. I felt happy and content, knowing that I had such a loving and supportive family.
______________
The next day, I woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I headed to the bathroom to get ready for the day. After a quick shower, I changed into my office outfit - a tailored beige suit with a crisp white blouse and a pair of formal beige trousers. The suit accentuated my figure, and the blouse added a touch of elegance. I paired the outfit with a simple yet stylish silver watch on my left wrist.
I then slipped on a pair of sleek black loafers, which complemented my outfit perfectly. The soft leather felt comfortable against my skin, and the slip-on design made it easy to get dressed in a hurry.
I then moved on to my makeup, opting for a natural look that would complement my outfit. I applied a light foundation to even out my skin tone, followed by a subtle blush to give my cheeks a healthy glow. I defined my eyes with a swipe of brown eyeliner and a few coats of mascara, and finished off my look with a light coral lip gloss.
Finally, I styled my hair in a sleek and polished updo, securing it with a few subtle pins. The overall effect was one of understated sophistication, perfect for a day at the office.
Just as I was about to leave my room, Jin came inside, already dressed and ready to go. He looked at me with concern etched on his face. "Why did you wake up so early?" he whined. "You're still weak from the fever. You should be resting."
I smiled reassuringly and put a hand on his arm. "Don't worry, Jin. I'll take care of myself. I promise."
Jin looked uncertain, but I could see the worry in his eyes begin to fade. "Okay," he said finally. "But you have to promise me you'll take it easy today."
I nodded, smiling. "I will, Jin. And don't worry, I'm not alone. Jungkook and Yoongi will be with me all day."
Jin's face relaxed into a smile. "Okay, that makes me feel better. Just be careful, okay?"
As Jin finished speaking, Jungkook and Yoongi walked into the room. "Ready to head out?" Jungkook asked, his eyes scanning the room to make sure everything was in order.
I nodded, grabbing my bag and slipping it over my shoulder. "Yeah, let's go."
Yoongi fell into step beside me, his eyes fixed on his phone as he scrolled through his messages. Jungkook walked behind us, his eyes scanning the hallway as we made our way to the kitchen.
Jin walked beside me, still looking concerned. "Are you sure you're feeling okay?" he asked.
I smiled reassuringly. "I'm fine, Jin. Really."
Jisoo was already in the kitchen, busy making breakfast for everyone. The delicious smell of scrambled eggs and toast filled the air, and my stomach growled in response.
"Good morning," Jisoo said, smiling at us. "Breakfast is almost ready."
We all chatted and laughed as we waited for breakfast, enjoying the warm and cozy atmosphere. It was moments like these that I cherished, surrounded by the people I cared about most.
Finally, Jisoo announced that breakfast was ready, and we all dug in, savoring the delicious food. As we ate, we discussed our plans for the day, from classes to club meetings to study sessions.
After breakfast, Jungkook, Yoongi, and I decided to leave for the company. As we gathered our things, I turned to Jin and asked, "When are you coming to the office?"
Jin smiled and replied, "Jisoo still needs to get ready. We'll come later."
I nodded, understanding. "Okay, see you soon."
Jin nodded and smiled, and I could tell he was still a bit worried about me. But I reassured him with a smile and a wave, and then Jungkook, Yoongi, and I headed out the door.
