Hoseok POV
"Please, proceed," I said.
Y/n nodded.
"Let's discuss the financial projections," she said.
Her voice was crisp.
Businesslike.
"Now, Mr. Jeong," Y/n began, "can you explain the projected revenue growth for the next quarter?"
I nodded, trying to sound confident.
"W-w-we expect a significant increase, around 15%."
Y/n's gaze never wavered.
"And what strategies do you propose to achieve this growth?"
I stammered, "I-I-we'll implement new marketing campaigns and expand our product line."
Y/n's expression remained unreadable.
"Now, it's my turn," I said, trying to regain composure.
"Ms. Kim, what's your vision for this partnership?"
Y/n replied confidently, "We aim to revolutionize the industry through innovative solutions and strategic collaborations."
Her poise unnerved me.
I asked another question, "H-how do you plan to address potential risks and challenges?"
Y/n responded smoothly, "We've developed contingency plans and will conduct regular risk assessments."
Her confidence was intimidating.
When Y/n asked her next question, I faltered.
"M-m-what's the expected ROI on this investment?"
Y/n's eyes sparkled, amused.
I forced myself to continue, "I-I mean, what are the key performance indicators for this project?"
Y/n replied, "We'll track revenue growth, market share, and customer satisfaction."
Her calm demeanor made my stammering more pronounced.
As the questioning continued, our roles became clear: Y/n, the assertive leader, and I, the struggling respondent.
"Ms. Kim," I asked, trying to sound confident, "what's your timeline for implementing these strategies?"
Y/n replied swiftly, "We're aiming for a six-month rollout, with quarterly assessments."
I nodded, impressed.
Y/n turned the tables.
"Mr. Jeong, how will you ensure our partnership remains competitive in the market?"
I stammered, "I-I-we'll monitor industry trends and adjust our strategies accordingly."
Y/n's gaze lingered, expecting more. But I couldn't articulate further, and the silence became oppressive. I fumbled with my notes, desperate to regain composure.
Y/n's eyes never left mine, piercing and intense, as if seeing right through me.
"Mr. Jeong," she said, her voice firm but hinting at amusement. "I think we've covered enough for today."
I nodded, relieved but also disappointed. The meeting was ending, and our interaction would soon cease.
Y/n stood up, confident and poised. "Thank you, Mr. Jeong."
