Hoseok POV
As I wrapped my arms around Y/n, feeling her warmth and gentle laughter, I knew this was where I belonged. Our friendship was a sanctuary, a place where we could be ourselves without judgment.
But my feelings for her ran deeper.
I loved her.
Yet, I knew she needed time.
So, we decided to take things slow, to be friends for now.
Let Y/n decide, in her own time, if she wanted something more.
Or if our bond would remain a beautiful friendship.
For now, I was content with this.
As Taehyung's antics stirred up chaos, Y/n's anger was adorable but also worrying.
"Easy, Y/n," I whispered, trying to calm her.
But she was beyond reason.
"COME HERE, YOU DAMN IDIOT! STUPID MORON! FUCKWIT! ASSHOLE!" she shouted at Taehyung.
I winced.
Y/n's curses were legendary.
Taehyung cowered, apologizing profusely.
I exchanged amused glances with Jimin and Yoongi.
Jungkook intervened, concern etched on his face.
"How can you do this to my boyfriend?" he asked.
Y/n glared.
"Shut up, Kook. He needs to learn."
Jungkook's eyes dropped.
I smiled inwardly.
Y/n's ferocity was impressive.
As Y/n handed Taehyung the phone, Jin's voice echoed through.
"First, preheat the oven to 375 degrees."
Taehyung nodded, listening intently.
I leaned back, observing.
This should be interesting.
Y/n's satisfaction was palpable.
Justice was served.
But I knew Taehyung wouldn't give up easily.
This was just the beginning.
I'd ensure Y/n stayed calm.
And Taehyung... well, he'd learn.
To cook, and to beware of Y/n's wrath.
As I watched Taehyung nervously follow Jin's instructions, I couldn't help but chuckle.
This was going to be a long night.
But with Y/n by my side, I was ready for whatever came next.
"Need help, Taehyung?" I called out, teasing.
Taehyung shot me a mock-glare.
"No, thanks. I've got this."
Y/n snorted.
"Yeah, right."
I grinned.
This was going to be fun.
And maybe, just maybe, one day Y/n would see me in a different light.
Until then, I'd cherish our friendship.
And patiently wait.
For the possibility of something more.
As the evening unfolded, Taehyung's cooking attempts turned into a comedy show. Y/n and I exchanged amused glances, our laughter intertwining.
