Y/n POV

As we walked to Yoongi's apartment, the evening air was filled with the scent of blooming flowers. We chatted about our exams, our voices relaxed and casual.

Upon arriving, Yoongi ushered me into the kitchen.

"Make yourself at home," he said.

I sat down at the counter, watching as he expertly chopped vegetables.

"What's the surprise?" I asked.

Yoongi grinned.

"You'll see," he teased.

The sizzling of meat and spices soon filled the air.

My stomach growled in anticipation.

Yoongi laughed.

"Almost ready," he said.

He presented a steaming dish of Korean-style beef stir-fry.

"Ta-da!" he announced.

I gasped.

"It looks amazing!"

Yoongi beamed.

"Taste it," he encouraged.

The flavors exploded on my tongue.

"This is incredible!" I exclaimed.

Yoongi chuckled.

"Glad you like it," he said.

We dug in, savoring the meal and each other's company.

As we ate, our conversation flowed effortlessly.

Exams, music, life – nothing was off-limits.

In that cozy kitchen, time stood still.

_____________

As we finished our meal, Yoongi cleared the table.

"Coffee?" he asked.

"Please," I replied.

He brewed a fresh pot.

We sat down, sipping our coffee and enjoying the warmth.

"Thanks for tonight," I said.

"Anytime," Yoongi replied, his eyes sparkling.

"Feels like old times," he added.

I smiled.

"Better," I replied.

Our gazes met, filled with understanding and friendship.

No expectations, just comfort.

The evening wore on, our conversation flowing effortlessly.

Laughter, stories, and comfortable silences filled the space.

As the night drew to a close, Yoongi walked me to the door.

"Goodnight," he whispered.

"Goodnight," I echoed.

Our hands touched briefly, a gentle, innocent gesture sealing our friendship.

With that quiet moment, our evening came to a peaceful close.

I left Yoongi's apartment, heading towards mine. The night air was crisp and calm, a perfect reflection of my mood. The evening with Yoongi had been exactly what I needed – comforting and reassuring.
