Y/n POV
I walked out of the conference hall, feeling a sense of accomplishment and relief. The meeting had gone well, and I was confident that we were on the right track.
Yoongi fell into step beside me, a smile on his face. "Y/n, congratulations on a great meeting," he said, his voice warm with praise. "You really know how to bring out the best in people."
I smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Yoongi. "Thanks, Yoongi," I said, my voice sincere. "I couldn't have done it without your help."
But before Yoongi could respond, I noticed a group of employees approaching us. They looked curious and eager to talk, and I could tell that they were probably going to ask for autographs or take selfies.
Yoongi seemed to sense my unease, and he immediately changed the subject. "Ma'am, have you seen the latest company graph?" he asked, his voice smooth and professional. "We're seeing some concerning trends, and I think we need to discuss our strategy for turning things around."
I nodded, playing along. "Yes, I've seen the graph," I said, my voice equally professional. "It's not looking good. What's your analysis of the situation?"
Yoongi launched into a detailed explanation of the graph, and I listened intently, grateful for the distraction. As we walked, the employees who had been approaching us hesitated, then turned away, looking disappointed. I breathed a silent sigh of relief, grateful to have avoided the awkward encounter.
As we entered my office, I was greeted by the familiar faces of Jin, Jisoo, and Jungkook. They were all seated in the comfortable chairs arranged in front of my desk, and they looked like they were in the middle of a lively conversation.
Jin, ever the charming and charismatic leader, stood up as we approached, a warm smile on his face. "Ah, perfect timing!" he exclaimed, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Jisoo has booked a restaurant, and we're all going out for lunch."
I raised an eyebrow, surprised by the sudden announcement. "Oh, that sounds lovely," I said, smiling at Jisoo. "What made you decide to book a restaurant?"
Jisoo smiled, looking pleased with herself. "I just thought it would be nice to get out of the office for a bit," she said. "We've all been working so hard lately, and I think we deserve a break."
I nodded, feeling grateful for Jisoo's thoughtfulness. "That's very kind of you, Jisoo," I said. "I'm looking forward to it."
Yoongi, who had been quietly observing the conversation, spoke up. "I'll just need to check the security arrangements before we head out," he said, his eyes flicking to Jungkook.
Jungkook nodded, his expression serious. "I'll take care of it," he said. "Let's get moving."
_____________
As we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted by the friendly hostess who showed us to our table. We spent a few minutes perusing the menu, discussing the various options and making our selections.
Once we had ordered, we settled in to enjoy our meal and each other's company. The conversation flowed easily, with Jisoo regaling us with stories of her latest fashion finds and Jungkook sharing some of his favorite martial arts moves.
Yoongi, ever the strategist, was discussing some of the company's latest business deals with Jin, who was listening intently.
As the conversation continued, Jin and I started to get into a playful argument. As siblings, we had always had a bit of a competitive streak, and it often came out in our conversations.
