Y/n POV
Yoongi's words hung in the air, a promise and a challenge. "Maybe," he whispered, "I'll just have to try again." My heart skipped a beat as I searched his eyes for answers.
"You shouldn't love me," I whispered, my voice trembling. Yoongi's expression faltered, his brows furrowing in concern.
"Why?" he asked, his voice laced with concern. "You deserve someone better," I replied, conviction etched on my face. Someone whole, not broken. Someone unscarred.
Yoongi's eyes flashed, protest burning within. "That's not true," he protested. But I shook my head, insistence in my voice. "It is," I whispered. "You'll find someone who loves you truly. Without conditions. Without baggage."
Yoongi's face fell, resignation creeping in. He knew I was right. He sighed, defeat in his eyes. "Fine," he whispered. But then, a glimmer sparked. Of hope. Of longing.
"One last time," he whispered. He leaned in, his breath mingling with mine. "Even if you don't love me back," he whispered, "you have to kiss me. Just once. For me."
His lips brushed against mine, soft and gentle, yet electrifying. The kiss was tender, a whispered promise. Yoongi's lips moved slowly, coaxing a response from me. I felt my lips curve into a reluctant smile, and then our mouths parted, only to meet again in a deeper, more passionate kiss.
His tongue traced the outline of my lips, sending shivers down my spine. I felt the rush of emotions, the spark that ignited within me. For a moment, I forgot why I couldn't love him back.
As we parted, Yoongi's eyes locked onto mine. "I'll wait," he whispered. But I knew. He deserved better. Than a heart like mine. Broken. Scarred. Unworthy.
I pulled back, my eyes never leaving his. "Don't wait," I said. "You deserve someone who can love you fully." Yoongi's expression softened.
"I'll take that chance," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'll wait for you." My heart ached.
"Yoongi, please," I whispered. "Don't." But he smiled.
"Just one last kiss," he whispered. His lips brushed against mine once more, and I felt my heart sink.
His lips brushed against mine once more, igniting a flutter in my chest. The kiss was a gentle whisper of longing, a soft caress that spoke volumes.
Yoongi's lips danced across mine, tracing a delicate path of sensation. Every touch sent shivers down my spine, every movement a tender exploration.
Time suspended, the world narrowing to the gentle pressure of his lips, the sweet tang of his breath mingling with mine.
In that fleeting moment, everything else faded away – doubts, fears, uncertainties – leaving only the gentle, aching beauty of our lips touching.
And then, all too soon, it was over.
As we parted, Yoongi's eyes locked onto mine, filled with emotion.
"I'd always love you," he whispered, his voice trembling. "No matter where life takes you, know that my heart belongs to you."
He took a deep breath, his gaze never wavering.
"We have so many years to spend in each other's company," he said softly. "So, whenever you're ready, come back to me. My arms will always be open for you. I accept you – flaws, imperfections, and all. Never feel insecure around me."
