Y/n POV

As the plane took off, memories of Hoseok came flooding back. The smile, the laughter, the tears we shared. Every moment we spent together replayed in my mind like a bittersweet melody.

Tears started streaming down my face, unstoppable and relentless. I felt like I was losing him all over again.

Taehyung, sitting beside me, noticed my distress. He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close.

"Y/n, it's okay," he whispered softly. "You're safe now. You're free."

But his words only made me cry harder. I snuggled deeper into his embrace, letting the sobs consume me.

Taehyung held me tightly, his warmth and comfort a temporary solace from the ache in my heart.

"Hoseok..." I whispered, his name barely audible through my tears.

Taehyung's grip tightened.

"I know, Y/n. I know."

As the plane soared through the skies, I felt like I was leaving a part of myself behind. The part that loved Hoseok, that loved our moments together.

But I knew I had to move on.

For myself.

For my sanity.

Yet, as I cried in Taehyung's arms, I couldn't shake off the feeling that I'd left my heart behind, with Hoseok.

The flight attendants passed by, concerned glances on their faces, but Taehyung reassured them with a gentle smile.

"She's just a little emotional," he said. "First flight jitters."

But it was more than that.

It was the weight of goodbye.

The weight of love left behind.

As the tears slowly subsided, Taehyung handed me a tissue.

"Better?" he asked, his eyes filled with empathy.

I nodded, wiping my face.

"Thanks, Tae," I whispered.

He smiled.

"Anytime, Y/n. We're in this together."

Together.

The word echoed in my mind.

Was I ready to face this new chapter alone?

Or would Hoseok's memory forever haunt me?

I couldn't shake off the memories of Hoseok. Every time the flight attendants asked if I wanted drinks or food, I refused. Taehyung tried to persuade me, concerned that I'd had barely any breakfast and nothing since.

"But you need to eat, Y/n," he said softly.

But I just shook my head, feeling numb.

That's when I noticed Taehyung's eyes welling up. He turned away, gazing out the window to hide his tears.

My heart went out to him.

"Taehyung?" I whispered, touching his arm.

He turned, and before I could process, he hugged me tightly. His head rested on my chest as I stroked his hair.

He started sobbing, his body shaking.

"I'm so sorry, Y/n," he whispered. "I should have taken care of you. I let go of you the moment you started dating Hoseok."
