Y/n POV
My head throbbed with a relentless ache. Every inch of my body felt bruised and tender. Jin and Joon flanked me, their concerned faces a blur. They helped me settle into bed, the softness enveloping me like a fleeting comfort.
"Hey, princess, we're here for you," Jin said softly. "You'll feel better soon." Joon nodded in agreement. They tried to cheer me up, sensing my despair. But I knew they were worried too.
Jin held out the pill and glass of water. "Time for medicine, dear." I scrunched up my face. "No!" My brothers exchanged a knowing glance. "Don't make us force-feed you," Jin teased. Joon chuckled. "We'll make it fun, I promise!"
I reluctantly opened my mouth, and Jin placed the pill on my tongue. The bitter taste made me grimace. But then I saw Jin and Joon's goofy grins. They were trying to lift my spirits, and it worked. For a moment, my pain forgotten, I laughed along with them.
Their laughter wrapped around me like a warm, comforting blanket. "Your face is priceless!" Joon chuckled. Jin high-fived him. "Best medicine face ever!" I playfully rolled my eyes, feeling a little better.
As they settled in beside me, I realized their attempts to cheer me up weren't just about the medicine. They knew I was struggling, and they were there to support me. "Thanks, guys," I whispered, my voice barely audible.
Jin smiled. "Anytime, princess. We're in this together." Joon nodded, his eyes shining with concern. "Rest now, dear. We'll take care of everything else." Their words soothed me, and I let myself drift off, surrounded by their love and care.
Jin's gentle voice broke through my haze. "You're not going to school until you're completely healed, princess."
I opened my mouth to protest, but Jin's firm expression silenced me.
"Don't even think about it," he said. "Your health comes first."
Joon nodded vigorously beside him. "And don't worry about schoolwork, dear. I've got your back."
"I'll take care of your studies," Joon continued. "I'll get your notes, talk to your teachers... everything."
I smiled weakly, grateful for my brothers' support.
"Thanks, guys," I whispered, feeling a weight lift off my shoulders.
Jin smiled back. "That's what brothers are for, princess."
Joon chuckled. "Besides, you need to focus on getting better. No stress, no worries."
I nodded, letting their words sink in.
For once, I didn't have to carry the burden alone.
My brothers were here, taking care of me.
As I drifted off to sleep, surrounded by their love and care, I knew everything would be okay.
As I drifted off to sleep, my mind began to wander. Despite the comfort of my brothers' presence, a nagging thought crept in. Hoseok.
What was he hiding?
Why did Taehyung warn me away?
Questions swirled, making my head spin. I tried to shake off the thoughts, but they lingered.
What secrets was Hoseok keeping?
Did it have something to do with his past?
Or was it something more?
