Hoseok POV

We spent the day laughing, joking, and enjoying each other's company. Y/N's delicious food, courtesy of Jin hyung's cooking, filled our bellies. Taehyung's apology had lifted the weight off my shoulders, and everything felt right again.

As we lounged in the living room, Y/N's phone rang. She picked up, listening to Jin hyung's voice on the other end.

After hanging up, Y/N turned to us.

"Jin hyung said they'll be home by tomorrow evening."

Since Y/N's condition wasn't good, she wasn't attending school. And now, with Jin hyung and Joon away, Taehyung and I exchanged a glance.

"We'll skip school tomorrow," Taehyung said. "We'll take care of Y/N."

Y/N smiled weakly.

"Thanks, guys."

As evening approached, Y/N yawned.

"I'm tired," she said.

"Let's get you to bed," Taehyung suggested.

Y/N's eyes sparkled mischievously.

"Let's sleep in my bedroom."

My heart skipped a beat.

"Are you saying three of us on the same bed under the same covers, and you between us?" I asked.

Y/N giggled.

"It's normal for Taehyung and me to sleep like that."

Then she asked me, "Have you ever had a sleepover with someone?"

I shook my head.

Taehyung chimed in, "That's why you don't know; this is pretty common for me and this witch."

He poked Y/N's forehead playfully.

Y/N said, "Okay, it's fixed! LET'S GOOOO!"

She was about to run but Taehyung's phone rang.

He picked up, listened for a moment, and looked at us with an apologetic expression.

"Guys, I'm sorry. Urgent work came up. I have to go."

Y/N groaned.

"Why do you have to go now? We had plans."

Taehyung pecked the bandage on her forehead.

"Sorry."

He waved at me and left.

Now it's just Y/N and me.

Now that Taehyung was gone, the room felt quieter.

Y/N looked at me, a hint of disappointment still etched on her face.

"I guess it's just us now," she said, smiling weakly.

I nodded, feeling a mix of emotions.

We stood there for a moment, unsure what to do next.

"Want to watch a movie or something?" Y/N suggested.

I agreed, and we settled onto the couch.

As the movie played, our legs touched, sending a spark through me.

I glanced at Y/N, but she seemed oblivious.

Or was she?

As we watched, Y/N started mimicking the actors' over-the-top lines.
