Taehyung POV

As we walked out of the restaurant, Y/n juggled her bags filled with coffee mugs.

"Need help with those?" I asked.

Y/n smiled. "I've got them, thanks."

I chuckled. "You and your mugs."

Y/n playfully rolled her eyes. "Hey, you owed me."

I grinned. "Fair enough."

We headed back to our apartment, Y/n carefully balancing her precious mugs.

As we entered the apartment, Y/n set the bags down on the couch.

"Finally home," she sighed.

I smiled. "Welcome back, mug queen."

Y/n chuckled. "You're ridiculous."

I shrugged, dropping onto the couch beside her. "Someone's got to keep you entertained."

Y/n began unpacking the mugs, placing them carefully in the cabinet.

"Thanks for tonight, Tae," she said.

"Anytime," I replied.

We settled into a comfortable silence, the evening's warmth lingering between us.

I glanced at Y/n, feeling grateful for our friendship and the quiet moments we shared.

"You're happy now that you have your mugs, right?" I teased.

Y/n smiled. "Yeah, I'm set."

I chuckled. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight," Y/n replied, smiling.

I watched her retreat to her room, feeling content in our peaceful coexistence.

I settled into my usual routine, grabbing a water bottle from the fridge before heading to my room. After changing into comfortable clothes, I spent some time scrolling through my phone, clearing out notifications.

It was late, and I was feeling sleepy, but nature called. I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom.

After doing my business, I walked back to my room, but my relaxation was short-lived.

Just as I entered my room, a loud scream pierced the night air, coming from Y/n's room.

My heart racing, I rushed to her room, flinging open the door.

"Y/n! What's wrong?" I exclaimed.

The room was dimly lit, but I saw Y/n's frantic figure sitting up in bed.

Her eyes were wide with fear, and her face was pale.

"Y/n, what happened?" I asked, concern etching.

She gasped for breath, her words tumbling out.

"I...I had a nightmare..."

I swiftly moved to her side, sitting beside her.

"Hey, it's okay. I'm here," I said softly.

Y/n's trembling subsided as I wrapped my arms around her.

"You're safe now," I whispered.

As I held her, my heart still racing from the sudden scare, I realized how much I cared for Y/n's well-being.

She clung to me, her face buried in my shoulder.

For a moment, we just sat there, the only sound our gentle breathing.
