Hoseok POV
As I drove away from Y/n's place, Jimin turned to me with a knowing grin. "Hoseok, you're really going all out this time, aren't you?" he teased, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
I raised an eyebrow, feigning innocence. "What are you talking about?"
Jimin chuckled. "The necklace, the romantic speeches... and that kiss!" he exclaimed, his voice laced with amusement. "You're pulling out all the stops."
I couldn't help but smile. "Shut up, Jimin."
Jimin laughed. "Seriously though, Hoseok, you're really in love with her, aren't you?"
I nodded, my expression turning serious. "I am."
Jimin's grin softened. "I'm happy for you, Hoseok. You deserve it."
We drove in comfortable silence for a moment, the city lights blurring outside.
Then Jimin spoke up again. "You know, Hoseok, that kiss was pretty smooth."
I rolled my eyes. "Jimin."
"What? I'm just saying!" Jimin defended. "Tying the necklace around her neck and then kissing her? That's some pro-level romance right there."
I chuckled. "Thanks, Jimin."
Jimin grinned mischievously. "But seriously, Hoseok, Y/n's still hesitant. What's going on?"
I sighed. "She needs time. We've got history, and it's not all good."
Jimin nodded thoughtfully. "I get it. But you're willing to wait, right?"
I nodded. "For as long as it takes."
Jimin smiled. "You're a changed man, Hoseok."
I smiled back. "Maybe I am."
As we approached our destination, Jimin's questions faded into silence.
My thoughts, however, lingered on Y/n.
Her smile.
Her laughter.
The way she said "I've missed you too."
My heart swelled with emotion.
I knew I'd wait patiently.
For Y/n to heal.
To trust me again.
Completely.
With a deep breath, I pulled into our parking spot.
"Let's head in," I said, breaking the silence.
Jimin nodded. "Sounds good."
We stepped out of the car.
Into the quiet night.
My heart remained.
With Y/n.
Waiting.
We stepped into my dorm room, the familiar space enveloping me in comfort.
"I'm really tired, Jimin," I said, dropping onto my bed.
Jimin nodded sympathetically. "Alright, let's get the schedule out of the way. Quick rundown for tomorrow."
"Go ahead," I replied.
Jimin smiled mischievously. "Actually, there's nothing."
I raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
