Hoseok POV
As I entered the office, a palpable sense of tension filled the air. Everyone's faces were etched with worry.
I approached Jimin, who was scanning the room frantically. "What's going on?" I asked.
Jimin's expression turned grim. "The file for the investor presentation is only half-done," he said, his voice low.
I felt a surge of concern. "Where's the person responsible for completing it?" I asked.
Jimin shook his head. "Not here yet. And to make matters worse, we don't have a soft copy of the file. We can't even create a basic presentation."
My mind racing, I assessed the situation. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," I reminded Jimin. "If the investors leave disappointed, our company will suffer massive losses."
Jimin nodded, his eyes reflecting the gravity of the situation. "We have exactly 10 minutes, sir," he urged. "The investors will arrive soon. We can't complete the presentation and file in time."
I frowned, weighing our options. "What are our alternatives?" I asked.
Jimin hesitated. "We could apologize and reschedule... or wing it," he suggested.
I considered the risks. "Winging it could be disastrous," I said. "But rescheduling might lose us the investors altogether."
Jimin nodded in agreement. "I agree, sir. We need a miracle."
The clock ticked, reminding us that time was running out.
"Get everyone ready," I instructed. "We'll improvise. Let's make this work."
Jimin nodded, determination etched on his face. "Let's do this."
With only minutes to spare, we prepared to face the investors, our hearts racing with anticipation and anxiety.
I took a deep breath, gathering my thoughts. "Jimin, get the team in place," I instructed. "Make sure everyone knows their role."
Jimin nodded, swiftly relaying instructions. The conference room buzzed with activity. Colleagues scrambled to prepare.
I surveyed the room, ensuring everything was in order. The investors would arrive any moment.
Suddenly, Jimin whispered urgently, "Sir, they're here."
I turned to face the door, confident and calm.
The investors entered, their expressions skeptical and expectant. I extended a firm handshake.
"Welcome, gentlemen. Thank you for considering our proposal."
Their leader, Mr. Lee, nodded. "Let's begin."
I glanced at Jimin. He gave a subtle nod.
"Please, take your seats," I invited.
The investors settled in. I launched into our presentation, confident words flowing. Charts and graphs appeared on the screen behind me.
My team supported me seamlessly, but then the questions came.
"Can you explain your projected revenue stream?" Mr. Lee asked.
I hesitated. "Uh...I'll need to...consult my team."
Jimin shook his head, almost imperceptibly. I knew I was in trouble.
"What about your market analysis?" another investor asked.
I fumbled. "We...uh...are still compiling the data."
