Hoseok POV

As I walked out of Y/N's place with Taehyung, I felt a pang of regret for not being able to visit her today. I had told her it was just for today, but little did she know, my life had taken an unexpected turn.

How could I tell her that I'd been kicked out and was now living with Jungkook?

The thought of sharing this news weighed heavily on me.

Just then, my phone buzzed with a text from Jungkook: "Hey, urgent work came up. Stay at my apartment for a few days till I return."

I sighed, feeling grateful for Jungkook's help but anxious about Y/N's reaction.

Would she worry about me?

Would she think less of me?

I pushed these thoughts aside, knowing I had to focus on my classes for now.

Taehyung nudged me. "Cheer up. I'll keep her company tonight."

I forced a smile. "Thanks, Tae."

We parted ways at school, and I headed to my classes, my mind occasionally drifting back to Y/N and the secret I kept hidden.

The day dragged on, and I found myself constantly checking my phone, hoping for a message from Y/N.

As I walked out of school, my mind still lingered on Y/N. I couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt for not being able to visit her today.

Just then, I spotted Jiyeon across the hallway, her eyes narrowing as our gazes met. My expression turned cold, memories of our tumultuous past flooding back.

We had been secret lovers, but it had ended badly. She had manipulated me, driven a wedge between me and my parents. I had walked away from my family for her, and it was a decision I regretted.

Now, with Y/N in my life, I felt a sense of responsibility, a chance to redeem myself.

Jiyeon's presence was a harsh reminder of my past mistakes. I turned away, not interested in rekindling anything.

"Let's get out of here," I muttered to myself.

As I walked away, I couldn't help but think about how Jiyeon had made Y/N's life miserable. Bullying her, tormenting her... My fists clenched at the thought.

Y/N deserved so much better. And I was determined to give it to her.

My phone buzzed, a text from Taehyung: "Just arrived at Y/N's place. She's smiling."

My heart swelled with gratitude. At least Taehyung was there for her.

But I knew I had to make it right, to be there for Y/N myself. Soon.

I quickened my pace, eager to escape the memories Jiyeon evoked. My phone buzzed again, another text from Taehyung: "Y/N's asking about you."

My heart skipped a beat. I hesitated, unsure how to respond.

"Tell her I'm fine," I typed, trying to sound casual.

But I wasn't fine. I was living with Jungkook temporarily, hiding my situation from Y/N.

As I approached Jungkook's apartment, I felt a mix of emotions. Gratitude for his help, but also anxiety about my future.

How long could I keep this secret from Y/N?

I entered the apartment, greeted by the familiar silence.

For now, I had to prioritize Y/N's happiness, even if it meant keeping my struggles hidden.
