Y/n POV
As I settled into my bed, surrounded by the people I care about most, I felt a deep sense of gratitude. Hoseok and Taehyung had been my rocks through this ordeal, and I couldn't imagine navigating it without them.
Jin and Joon's presence was a comforting reminder that I had a larger support system. Jungkook's quiet companionship was a balm to my frazzled nerves.
"Thank you, guys," I whispered, my voice barely audible.
Hoseok's hand found mine, his fingers intertwining with mine. "Anytime, Y/N," he whispered back.
Taehyung smiled softly. "You're home now. You're safe."
I nodded, feeling a lump form in my throat. Safety wasn't just a physical space; it was the people who made me feel protected.
As the evening wore on, I drifted off to sleep, lulled by the gentle hum of conversation and the warmth of the people around me.
The next morning, I woke up feeling more refreshed than I had in weeks. Hoseok and Taehyung were still by my side, their faces etched with concern.
"Morning," Hoseok whispered, handing me a glass of water.
"Hey," Taehyung added, helping me sit up.
I smiled, feeling grateful. "I'm okay," I reassured them. Their faces relaxed.
"I think it's time for school," I said, gazing at Hoseok and Taehyung, who were lounging on the couch with me. "I wish I could've joined you," I added wistfully.
Hoseok's expression softened. "You'll be back soon, Y/N. Don't worry." Taehyung nodded in agreement. "We'll take care of things. You focus on recovering."
Just then, Jin called out from the kitchen, "BREAKFAST IS READY!" Joon walked over to me, concern etched on his face. "How are you feeling today?"
"I'm okay," I replied, smiling. "Good," Joon said. "Jin and I decided to take the day off since Jungkook's busy. We'll keep you company."
We headed to the dining table, where Jin had laid out a feast. As we ate, Hoseok and Taehyung got ready to leave.
"I won't be able to visit you today," Hoseok said, his eyes apologetic. I pouted, but before I could protest, he pecked my lips and then kissed my forehead.
Just then, Taehyung popped up beside us. "Later, Witchy McWitchface!" he exclaimed. I rolled my eyes and hit him on the shoulder. "Stop calling me that!" Hoseok chuckled. "Take care, Y/N."
Taehyung grinned. "I'll visit you in the evening. Bye, Witch." With that, they left.
Jin, Joon, and I settled into the living room.
"How do you think Hoseok and Taehyung are handling school?" I asked.
Jin smiled. "Those two can handle anything, especially with you on their minds."
"I hope I can get back to normal soon," I said.
Joon nodded encouragingly. "You will. We're all here for you."
"I just feel so left behind," I admitted.
Jin's expression softened. "You're not alone, Y/N. We're all here to support you."
