Hoseok POV

I thought to myself, if she was really that exhausted. Hadn't Yoongi said she was burnt out? But then it was obvious.

Even though she'd been working non-stop at the company, she still found time to cook my favorite dishes. The memory of those thoughtful gestures warmed my heart. The way she'd carefully prepare each ingredient, the love she'd put into every dish.

It wasn't just about the food; it was about the effort she put into making me happy. And that realization hit me hard.

Y/n's exhaustion wasn't just about her workload; it was also about her unwavering care for those around her. Like me. She'd put others before herself, no matter the cost.

I recalled the countless times I'd seen her working on her school projects, back then. Her dedication, her passion, and her perseverance had always inspired me. Late nights spent studying, early mornings spent rehearsing presentations, and still, she'd find time for me.

My heart swelled with emotion.

I gazed toward her bedroom, my resolve strengthening.

I'd be there for her, just as she'd always been for me. I'd support her, care for her, and help her through this tough time.

Taehyung's voice broke the silence.

"Hoseok, you okay?"

I nodded.

"Yeah."

My eyes remained fixed on Y/n's bedroom door.

Waiting for the moment she'd wake up.

And I could show her just how much I cared.

I stood up, walked over to the kitchen, and began arranging the fruits and flowers I'd bought.

Taehyung watched me, a knowing smile on his face.

"You're going to make her happy, aren't you?" he asked.

I smiled back.

"I'll try."

Taehyung's smile faded, replaced by a serious expression.

"Hoseok, I need to tell you something," he said.

I raised an eyebrow.

"What is it?"

Taehyung's eyes locked onto mine.

"As a prosecutor, I've seen my fair share of pain and suffering," he said.

His tone turned stern.

"If you hurt Y/n again...if you break her heart one more time...I'll make sure you regret it."

His gaze intensified.

"I'll use every resource at my disposal to ensure you face the consequences."

I swallowed hard.

Taehyung's threat wasn't empty.

He'd always been fiercely protective of Y/n.

Now, with his authority as a prosecutor...

I believed him.

"Understood," I said.

Taehyung's expression softened.

"Good."

He stood up.

"I'll leave now."

"Thanks for watching over her," I said.

Taehyung nodded.
