Hoseok POV
Days blurred together since Y/n left for the USA. My girlfriend, the one I betrayed. Chasing her dreams, escaping the pain I caused.
My mind replayed that fateful night, the kiss with Jiyeon. I knew it was wrong - cheating on Y/n, shattering her trust.
I wished I could turn back time, tell Y/n the truth. That Jiyeon manipulated me, using her charm to control me. That I never meant to hurt Y/n.
I checked my phone, hoping against hope for a call or text from Y/n. But the screen remained blank. I scrolled through our old conversations, seeing the countless messages I'd sent since she left.
"Y/n, please forgive me."
"Can we talk?"
"I miss you."
All met with silence.
My heart ached, thinking about losing Y/n. Our laughter, our moments, our love - all tainted by my infidelity.
Regret consumed me.
Why had I let Jiyeon control me?
I thought about reaching out to Taehyung or Jungkook, but what could I say? "Sorry" seemed hollow.
My phone remained silent, a constant reminder of my mistakes.
I gazed around my room, surrounded by memories of Y/n and me. Photo frames adorned the shelves, our smiles and laughter frozen in time. My eyes lingered on each picture, remembering the moments we shared.
One frame caught my attention - a picture of us kissing. I recalled the day it was taken, Y/n's lips curled into a joyful smile as I held her close. My heart swelled with longing and regret.
I picked up the frame, tracing the outline of Y/n's face with my finger. Tears pricked at the corners of my eyes as I whispered, "Y/n, I'm so sorry."
How could I have thrown away our love for a momentary lapse in judgment?
Jiyeon's manipulation had cost me everything.
My phone remained silent, a harsh reminder of Y/n's silence.
With a heavy sigh, I collapsed onto my bed, surrounded by memories of what could never be again.
Just then, my door creaked open. Jimin, my best friend and roommate, walked into our shared dorm room, concern etched on his face.
"Hey, man, you've been locked up in here for weeks. What's going on?" Jimin asked, dropping his backpack onto the floor.
I hesitated, unsure how to share my secrets.
"Nothing, just stressed about classes," I lied, attempting a weak smile.
Jimin raised an eyebrow.
"Hoseok, we've been roomies since orientation. I know when you're hiding something."
I sighed, debating how much to reveal.
"Let's grab some coffee, and I'll try to explain," I said finally.
Jimin nodded, and we headed to the campus café.
As we sipped our coffee, I struggled to find the right words.
"It's about a girl," I began, my voice barely above a whisper.
Jimin's eyes widened.
"Spill!" he urged.
I took a deep breath and continued.
"I messed up, Jimin. I hurt someone I care about."
Jimin's expression turned serious.
