Hoseok POV
I stood outside the café, unsure of where to go or what to do. Jungkook's anger still lingered in my mind, and I knew Taehyung wouldn't be any more forgiving. And Y/n's brothers... How could I face them?
The thought sent a shiver down my spine.
I had nowhere to turn.
No friends, no family, no refuge.
Defeated, I decided to return to my parents' home, despite knowing they'd disowned me.
Maybe, just maybe, they'd take me in.
As I walked, the familiar streets seemed foreign, tainted by my shame.
I reached my childhood home, hesitating outside the door.
Would they turn me away?
I took a deep breath and knocked.
The door opened, and my mother's stern face greeted me.
"Hoseok," she said, her voice cold.
"I have nowhere else to go," I admitted, my voice barely above a whisper.
My mother's expression softened slightly.
"Come in," she said finally.
I stepped inside, feeling like a stranger in my own home.
My father's voice boomed from the living room.
"Hoseok, you're home."
I nodded, avoiding eye contact.
"We need to talk," he said, his tone firm.
I knew I had a long way to go to regain their trust.
But for now, I just needed a place to hide from my guilt.
And from the world that seemed to have turned against me.
I sat down, prepared to face their disappointment and anger.
But deep down, I knew I'd never be able to escape Y/n's haunting smile.
And the knowledge that I'd lost her forever.
My dad's eyes narrowed. "Why have you come back now, Hoseok? You chose Y/n over us, remember?"
"I loved her, Dad," I said, my voice shaking. "But you forced me to stay away from her and date Jiyeon instead."
My mom's expression turned curious. "What's wrong with Jiyeon?"
"Jiyeon doesn't love me," I said, my voice firm. "She's only with me for the money and status. She doesn't love me wholeheartedly."
My dad's face remained unmoved. "I don't care if she loves you or not. What matters is our reputation."
I stood up, my anger boiling over. "You never cared about my happiness, did you? Only your precious reputation."
My dad's eyes flashed with anger, but I continued.
"There's something you don't know. Something that will change everything."
I paused, gathering courage.
"Jiyeon was two-timing me... with Jungkook. My best friend."
My parents' faces froze in shock.
"What?" my mom whispered.
"It's true," I said, my voice shaking. "And Y/n left because of Jiyeon's manipulation. She couldn't bear the thought of being near me after what happened."
