Y/n POV
As I snuggled deeper into Hoseok's side, his warmth enveloped me, chasing away the chills from Taehyung's horror movie. Hoseok's calming presence soothed my frazzled nerves, and I felt my tension melt away.
His hands wrapped around my waist, sending shivers down my spine. The touch felt natural, comfortable, like I'd been here before.
My lips brushed against his neck, and I felt his pulse quicken. Our heartbeats synchronized, pulsating as one. The connection was intoxicating.
In this moment, everything else faded away. The world narrowed down to Hoseok and me, our own little bubble of tranquility.
Taehyung's teasing, Jungkook's gentle laughter, and the movie's suspenseful music blended into the background, a distant hum.
I felt safe, protected, shielded from the world's chaos.
Hoseok's whispered reassurances echoed in my mind: "Hey, I've got you." Did he mean it just for this moment, or was there something more?
I pushed the thought aside, letting the warmth of the moment wash over me. For now, I just wanted to be.
With Hoseok.
In his arms.
Where time stood still.
The movie ended, but Hoseok's grip on me relaxed only slightly. I didn't pull away. Neither did he. We lingered, wrapped in each other's arms, suspended in this intimate space.
Taehyung and Jungkook were engrossed in their own little world, their soft murmurs and giggles filling the space.
I glanced up at Hoseok, our eyes locking in a silent understanding. For a moment, the world stopped.
His gaze held mine, a silent question, a hidden message. I searched for answers, but Hoseok's expression remained enigmatic.
The tension between us was palpable, a spark waiting to ignite.
Yet, I didn't pull away. I couldn't.
Hoseok's eyes held mine, their depths swirling with emotions. I searched for answers, but his expression remained guarded.
The air thickened, heavy with unspoken words.
Taehyung and Jungkook's laughter receded into the background, leaving only the sound of our synchronized breathing.
My heart pounded, anticipation building.
Hoseok's hand rested on my bare waist, his touch sending shivers down my spine.
I hadn't even realized my shirt had ridden up.
But now, his skin on mine ignited a fire within me.
I leaned in, my face inches from his.
Our lips almost touched.
The world teetered on the edge of something monumental.
But just as suddenly, Hoseok released me.
"Time for bed," he whispered, his voice husky.
Disappointment washed over me.
Had I misread the moment?
Taehyung and Jungkook stirred, stretching.
"Bed sounds good," Taehyung yawned.
Jungkook nodded.
As we parted ways for the night, I couldn't shake off the feeling.
That something had almost happened.
