Chapter 074
Myra's point of view
I'd been in desolation for awhile now until Logan came to my rescue like he always does. He punched down the walls to make a new exit for me, and I could only curved the largest smile when I saw that he was done.
The smile stayed glued to my face while I stepped out, instantly paled at the scene I stepped into. In front of me stood Logan, his palm fisted and his aura quite furious, and adjacent where I stood was Lucas, a woman was beside him, a very strange woman, someone I've never seen before.
I moved away from Logan's shadow so Lucas could see my presence. His gaze nailed on Logan, dark and humorous. I know him, might not be the man I thought he was to me, but I'm sure he has always been a monster to everyone else.
That eyes, I'm certain he was devising numerous diabolical ways to commit Logan's murder.
"Mon Diamant, look who we have here." Without glancing at me, he said to me. "In flesh and he person. What do you suggest we do to him?" His gaze flickered then from Logan to me, his brows creased in expect of my answer.
I gulped, and slowly took steps toward him. "Myra stay with me, don't go near the psycho. He won't hurt you, he can't hurt you, I'll die before I let him." Logan tugged at my wrist as he drew me to a pause.
My eyes trailed from the hand that held my wrist to his face, his worrisome but still majestic face, and smiled at him. "Trust me," I mouthed in a mute voice, he could read it off my lips. The smile was to assure him in feelings, and the words in emotions. He should trust me.
"Get your hands off me!" I instructed harshly, out loud for Lucas to relish my loyalty.
"But Myra I-"
"If you don't get your hands off my mate, there's a big chance you'd be handless the next second," Lucas cut in with a threat.
I quickly jerked my own wrist out of Logan's reach, there wasn't a big chance, that's exactly what he'd do in the next second.
I hurried my feet up to his side, "Why did you lock me up? And who is she?"
"Don't worry yourself too much about that, the main topic is right here is the fate you want for your obsessive ex- mate. The fool that wouldn't accept the fact that he doesn't deserve you. If you leave his fate to my hands, I'd be happy to take control." Lucas looked down at me by his side, a nice smile on his face to mask the beast he is perfectly.
I smiled back, at this point, two can definitely play the game. He deceived me with his smile and words, I'm going to show him I learnt that well.
"A quick death doesn't suit him, do you have cells? Or dungeons? Because I just recall to a particular day I did something to upset him, to upset the very man that claims to love me so much it hurts now might I add. He locked me up in a dungeon for three days with no survival means." I chuckled with an eye roll.
"So now, how about I start by upping that action of his a little bit. I want him thrown in one of your cells or dungeons, whichever you have. He's going to spend seven days locked in there with no food or water for him, and every morning of each day he spent in there, he's to be brought outside to your field and given twenty five strokes of a silver laced whip on the back, naked. It must be silver laced so he wouldn't heal up quickly. He's not going to die quickly or even die at all, he's going to regret everything he has done to me."
Lucas gasped by my side, I could only picture the awe on his face for I have shifted my cold gaze to Logan.
"Mon Diamant!" Curiosity whirled my head to look at him, and met with exultancy in his face, probably expressed at my words.
I smiled inwardly, and kept my face neutral. "Dungeons or cell? I've had enough of his face already."
"We have both at your disposal love, but a dungeon is the best fit for his doomed life."
"Myra what are you saying? I've apologized, I've begged you, I've done everything to attain your forgiveness. I didn't mean what I did, it wasn't intentional or anything done with a straight mind." His eyes had gone shallow and watery, emotions trailed over his voice in addition.
That's good of him. My out of the line character warmed with rage, coupled with the reaction from Logan. There's no way we haven't tricked the Alpha King.
"Please forgive me, you don't want to do that do you? This is not who you are. Myra please I'm begging you,"
"Are we really gonna listen to him beg or you'll get your guards to come take him away?" I questioned Lucas.
"Way ahead of you love." His guards matched in at that moment to apprehend Logan.
"No! No!! No!!!" He yelled, "I won't let this happen."
I have no idea what he did, but all the men who were supposed to hold him down fell to the floor unconscious. One glance at Logan, and I saw the fury in his eyes to realize he was behind it.
"Myra you're under a spell, follow me. This man is not for you," Logan extended his hand for me to take.
"The audacity to make such demand in my presence!" Lucas thundered as he lunged himself forward, to pounce on Logan.
Logan moved out of spot and pinned a hard gaze on Lucas that instantly rigged his balance. Lucas yelped as he fell to his knees.
"Diana!!!" He called, unsure of who he was calling.
"Eskrä Lïm Estuvėz," the strange woman who was with Lucas began to chant, her eyes glowed and her palms curved.
Right in front of my eyes Logan's attention on Lucas faltered as veins popped open in his face, he looks concussed as he fell down to his knees and held his chest.
The witch beside me chanted louder and harder, and seconds later, Logan laid on the floor either dead or unconscious. Fear gripped me whole at the thought of the former being Logan's reality.
No no, this cannot be happening. This was not what I planned in my head, this is not supposed to happen.
Logan was suppose to comply to Lucas's apprehension and turn himself in. Then whatever place they held him in, I have it planned to go free him so he can run away, not die.
Not die!
