Chapter 083

Myra's point of view

We walked for what felt like eternity before Selene finally announced that we've gotten to our destination.

The said destination wasn't just any scene or place, rather in front of me was a city built in pure gold. From the structure, to the lines, to the walls, and floors, all of it all was covered and in gold.

My lips parted in a gasp as cloud gathered from nowhere under our feat, I glanced at Selene to notice it was her handiwork as she waved her palm in control of the clouds that acted as our transport.

We both floated on each cloud, as we approached the city. "Where is this?" I had to ask, the beauty, the view, ethereal was too weak a word to describe it here.

"Oh this is Aureum, city of the gods. Here is the house of all gods and goddesses. You and I are going to visit an old friend, the goddess of divination," Selene answered, we floated into the main city and my jaw slacked open and off my face.

"Holy Moon!" I mouthed, greatly impressed and amused. I mean it, I want to be here forever.

Few people began to come to sight, they were also floating on clouds, and I knew then that it there way of transportation or moving around. I honestly thought supreme beings could fly or something.

I mean what do I get to think? I didn't even know a city like this existed, or that there was other goddesses or gods apart from the Moon Goddess. My ignorance is sincerely laughable.

After a while of floating around, and feeding my eyes of enough beauty of this place. We landed on a golden tiled porch.

Selene moved close to the golden door that glitters, she tapped softly on it with her only her index finger, and beneath the tap was golden particles that sprayed out in small glitters.

Barely a second later the door disintegrated into golden particles and cleared away for our entry. Wow!

"Follow me." Selene gestured as she went inside.

'As if I wanted to stay behind before.' I didn't say it out loud. She didn't need to tell me to follow her before I know I would, I'm a literal stranger here on her guide. Which makes her temporary lost puppy.

We went into the house, and the whoosh I heard behind made me peak back to see the disintegrated particles as came back together to form the faded door.

The place is beyond magical. I wanna be here forever.

The lobby in front of me was a wide one, shiny and bright. I'm convinced the oxygen they breathe in here is golden too, or the food they consume. It's beautiful, but I'm starting to want to see another color other than golden.

A woman soon came into appearance, must be the said goddess of divination. She looked just as gorgeous as I imagined.

Tall, with a perfect body shape and a face to die for. Her hair matched her golden aesthetic, long, silky, and a golden brown. She also stunned in radiant jewelries, and claded a silky long royal gown. She's an absolute sight to behold.

"Zilahna," Selene greeted.

"Selene," she nodded back at her, her voice the same class as her aura.

Okay is it bad if I say I want to become a goddess. It's a budding crave if it means I get to have a beautiful voice, a cool hair, all of these. Cause Good Goddess, these are to die for!

"Beside me is a subject of mine whose presence is a little out of the norms, I've come to request your assistance on insights about what she's here for." Selene's palm pointed at me, that led to both their gazes flicked at me.

"Are you both born a goddess or you became one? Is it possible to become a goddess and live here forever?" I threw out my impulsive thoughts before I could shove them below.

Zilahna, the goddess of divination shrugged and stepped closer to where I stood. "I suppose." She eyed me from the top to my feet.

Both of them completely ignoring the questions I asked them.

"Your hand, darling." She smiled at me and stretched forth her palm for me to take.

Even her palm wasn't left out, so beautiful you'd know how heavenly it would be if you touch it. I didn't hesitate to push my palm into hers.

I sighed in satisfaction as her soft palm squeezed my hand gently against hers. I knew this would be heavenly.

Her eyes snapped close, and then reopened all of a sudden with a golden brightness, a blinding glow that squinted my gaze on her.

She gasped and exhaled heavily, "She's a descendant of the cosmos. She's the lost part of a powerful entity. A vessel of an outer spirit. She's- she's-" she paused and the glow in her eyes faded. Phew.

If I had to endure that anymore, I can either survive on glasses or wave my vision bye bye. Now what's with her creepy statements, cosmos descendants and whatever she just yabbed about.

"She's your lost daughter." Her paled face glanced up at Selene, shock written all over her face.

"Huh?" My brows creased.

"What do you mean?" Selene quizzed as she also stepped closer to us.

"I saw it. How it happened, what went wrong and why. All of it." She dropped my hand as she stepped back and around to probably let whatever she saw sink further into her head.

What happened? What went wrong? What did she saw? She needs to fucking use her words. I'm drowning in both confusion and curiosity here.

"Explain to me, Zilahna."

"Yes, who is whose daughter? Or what did you saw happened?" I added.

Zilahna nodded and began to exhale more calmly and slowly, she stopped pacing around and close her eyes to retrieve her spiraled demeanor.

"Inside this subject of yours lives the spirit of your lost daughter, and the spirit doesn't just live in her, she's connected with it. She's the same with the spirit. I think we need to sit down for this," she suggested. "It's a long story."

"Uhm hell yeah, because I think I would have known that a spirit is inside of me if it ever was. I'm nothing more than a weak omega who had a rough life growing up, and you're telling me now that I'm connected with some creepy lost spirit? Hell yes we need a fucking seat," I spoke in agreement.

"Follow me." She ignored me once more and just set to motion.
