Chapter 096
Lucas's point of view
How did she learn the truth?
From where did she learn the truth? My plan was sailing smoothly, she was mine and no one else's. I did not expect all to rough up.
Where it all started with this bastard mate of hers, I'm glad the fool is dead. He was such a pain to deal with.
I just have to figure out a way to keep Myra by my side before the Blue Moon rolls around, and it's gonna be a hard thing to carry out now that she's learnt the truth.
I did not regret what I did, I did everything to give the both of us a future, the best future. She needs to understand that I'm setting her up for a dream she can never imagine, she would seriously thank me later.
'Just in case you haven't noticed, I'm laughing at you,' my wolf picked the perfect moment to jeer at my misery.
Myra suddenly disappeared before I could go into her head, thanks to Logan's power, I've become something more than I was.
The way she had escaped my grasp made me wonder what kind of special surrounded her descent. She even intended to kill me, her specialty should definitely be worth it.
I just got her back, I can't have her gone again so i've contacted the witches at my disposal to dig up her whereabouts.
She's no longer bound now, and everything is all set. All I'm waiting for now is for the blue moon to peak high up in the sky, and I'll become the man I am meant to become.
I'll become the ruler of this world, conqueror of earth, supreme leader of mankind. That is the life I've prepared and planned for myself and Myra, she would rule by myself.
I wouldn't just sacrifice her for the greater good, I would bring her back from death to be the one at my side. We're going to rule the world together, side by side.
That was the fate I planned for her, she doesn't know about it because I wanted it to be a surprise, an act that would prove my love for her. I can't lose her, she's more than just who she thinks she is to me.
The door to my office flung open and the face I least expected to see waltzed into my space. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes at her as she came to where I was.
Her arm was quick to snaked over my shoulder, while the other tried to massage my face when I cut her attempts off abruptly.
I'm not in the mood for whatever she's trying to make happen. In fact, isn't she suppose to stay out of my sight till whenever I want her back around.
"Don't you love me anymore?" She inquired, as sadness curled into her gaze.
"What are you doing here? We're in the middle of a crisis, and you think that's the right question to ask?" Sarcasm sharpened the edge of my tone.
"Well for some reason I've been meaning to come see you, and every time I decide that I get this strong urge that you don't want to see me so I always stay back. I'm here right now because it took an infinite strength of willpower to overcome the urge that you don't want me here to come see you. Do you really don't want to see me? Was my gut feeling right about that?"
My eyes snapped close briefly as I let out a sight, she must have broke through the psychic hold I had on her.
"Lisa I need you to understand that I'm not my best self right now, you can't be around me. I'm currently dangerous, I'm protecting you by staying away from you." I stood up from my chair as I cupped her face into my palms.
A small smile came on her face as she looked up at me, "I love you, Lucas. I don't need to be protected from you. What matters is that you love me too, and you do right?"
The only person I love is Myra De Vries, no one else.
"Yes," I responded and mirrored her smile. "I mistakenly killed Myra, that's how dangerous I'm becoming. I don't want the same to happen to you. So you really have to stay away from me till the blue moon. I promise everything will be alright once that is over." I rubbed softly on her cheeks as I leaned down to kiss her.
My hand moved to the back of her head as I gripped on her hair. I roped her into a passionate kiss to distract her from observing as I summoned my psychic energy into display and put her back in her mental cage.
We separated once I was done, and she looked at me as though as I was a stranger before she walked out of the office.
Phew. I really am liking this telepathic competence. It's efficient and really useful.
I was about to sit back down on my chair when my door opened and Lisa walked back in. Wait what?
My brows furrowed in confusion as she walked over to where I was.
"How are you back here?" She's suppose to stay out of my sight till the blue moon. That was solidly imprinted on her telepathically, how on earth is she back here?
"Oh no I'm not Lisa, let me prove that to you." She instantly morphed into my dead sister, Madeleine. Who is she? What is she?
"I'm a shapeshifting wolf, and who I am doesn't really matter. I just want the both of us to work together," She introduced herself with a smirk on her lips.
"Your power is an interesting one." I pointed out as I began to also approach her. The ability to shape shift, I wonder what I could do with that.
"What makes you think I want to work with you?" I added.
"Because I know where Myra is. And you want Myra don't you? Except you won't get her as long as he is alive and breathing," she answered, the last part of her statement unsettling.
"Who is alive and breathing?"
"You know who. Who else if it's not Logan BlackWood, the Alpha Of Crystal Moon Pack. Safe to say the weapon fashioned against you."
"He is a nobody, he is dead. That peasant never stood a chance against me," I countered with a gritted face as veins popped into my forehead.
"Except when Myra disappeared, she went to him and he's currently mapping an escape plan out of here. I'm willing to help you get what you want of course, but that is only if you wish to cooperate."
I took her by the neck and slammed her into the nearest wall as anger rushed into my features. "I'm not interested in your games," I told her as I activated my psychic energy to flow through her and get the informations I needed.
But it was blank. Nothing. There was nothing, I couldn't hold anything on her.
She laughed, "Yeah I forgot to tell you that I'm immune to that psychic shit."
"Then what is to stop me from absorbing your life force right now?"
"Because you need me, if you kill me right now, trust that Myra will go away from you forever and ever. Is that what you want?"
She doesn't look like she's lying. "Change into your face at least chose a different one, I hate my sister," I said to her as I let her go.
"What do you have to offer me?" I was ready to listen to her.
