  For the first time in my life and I'm saying this because I've lived a miserable existence. I grew up a victim of abuse and mistreatment. Yet I've never been scared, but here we are today, tonight and for the first time in my life, fear gripped me hard like a vice at the sight of who stood few strides away from us.

  Even under the dark night sky, I could still tell the look on their faces. I'm sure Lucas would have a devilish smug face that hints on how achieved he feels to be here finally, to handle the fate he's always has planned for Logan once and for all with no mistake this time around.

  And Lisa, she'll just be happy she gets to be included in this, and if it's her role to fight me then I'm sure she's more than willing to cause some damages.

  I could end this, I could wish the both of them out of existence. Only if it was possible, however my powers doesn't work on Lucas, and I think it'll be the same with Lisa.

  The both of them are a being or core, Lisa is an omega, and Lucas is the Alpha King. They're a hub to the world of supernatural, werewolves to be precise. Their existence can't be erased.

  "It doesn't have to end like this!" Logan took a step forward as he spoke in a loud voice, audible to those that stood many feet away from us. "This doesn't have to be a fight if the Alpha King would just surrender himsef," Logan added to his statement.

  In response to his words, Lucas eyes glowed red from where he stood in the darkness. He glanced to his side to address Lisa.

  I quickly used my hearing to lean into his whisper to her.

  "You know she's valuable, go easy on her. And leave the bastard to me."

  That was what he whispered to her. He wanted her to go easy on me, and leave Logan for him to deal with.

  "I'm going to enjoy taking away your last breath," he muttered as loud as Logan was when he tried to reason with him.

  And in a sudden whoosh, he covered the small distance that separated us and took hold of Logan's neck before he threw him into the open space. I watched him sped over to an angle he must have calculated Logan will land with a punch waiting for Logan's body in the air.

  Oh shit I have to help him.

  I made a move in an attempt to go help when a palm tapped on my shoulder, my head slowly wheeled around to see the shiny blue eyes glaring at me.

  "That's none of your business, this is." Her claws released in a swift and pushed directly into my stomach.

  My mouth fell open in a painful gasp with my eyes opened wide as I gripped onto the wrist that dug the claws into me.

  "I promised to go easy on you, but let's not forget how you had my man forgot about me and wrapped around your tiny little useless fingers," she spoke with a potent malice, her claws that were inside of me pushed deeper and curved at my insides.

  Pain forced tears into my eyes in response to her affliction, my lips flattened as I struggled to breathe.

  'Give me control.' Salome reached out to me, reached out for control.

  "Did I tell you an interesting fact? My claws are curse marked, one hit on you and you're cursed. But don't worry, you won't be alive long enough to know what curse has been inflicted on you," she taunted, savoring the sight of my agony.
