   So Logan explained to us on how he thinks Deena can help. Deena told him her ability ranged more than just shapeshifting, turns out she can steal a whole identity and get away with it.
 
 
   All she has to do is touch her victim, and she can steal that person's identity. Also whenever she's under the face of whoever she wants to be, the person's memories, criterions, and everything else are at her mercy to utilize.
 
 
   When I learnt this about her, it didn't take me long to figure that she must have been the one who came to me as Madeleine, Lucas's sister and told me she's ready to work with me.
 
 
   There was a feel around her back then, I just knew it wasn't Madeleine, so I tested her and she failed miserably.
 
 
   I just hope she wouldn't falter against the Lucas, cause she was unable to fool me as Madeleine, what's the chance that she'd be able to fool the Alpha King then?
 
 
   I gave her back her power as planned, and she was out of here the next second to go deal with the Alpha King. Logan was to keep an eye on her through psychic means.
 
 
   Logan came to where I was, sat down beside me and pulled me into his body.
 
 
   "I cannot begin to express how happy I am that you're alright," he whined as he blew kisses all over my face and neck.
 
 
   I chuckled at the sensitivity, and at him. I need to tell him about everything, he needs to know our only problem is not just the Alpha King as it seems.
 
 
   "There's something I need to tell you." I pulled away, but not from him completely, enough for me to face him and converse face to face.
 
 
   When he saw how serious I looked, worry deeper into his features. "What is it? Are you okay?" His brows were furrowed.
 
 
   It's really nice to know this guy is all about me for real. That makes me really happy.
 
 
   "So while you thought I was dead, I was actually on a trip to a place known as Aureum? Are you familiar?"
 
 
   He nodded as he drew closer, "Yeah, isn't it a myth though? The city of gods? Does it really exist?" I could see the curiosity mixed with confusion in his eyes.
 
 
   "Well it does and I was there, and I want to tell you some things I discovered there."
 
 
   "Alright, sure I'm all ears. So long as you're not in any danger?" His gaze on me squinted at the thought of that.
 
 
   "No." I smiled at him. "So I met with the moon goddess, and to be precise, I'm kind of like her daughter," I told him.
 
 
   At first he was silent, then his lips parted slightly to reply but then closed after nothing came out.
 
 
   His reaction was understandable.
 
 
   "You are what now? Explain better,"
 
 
   I snickered, "It's a long story, but one time the moon goddess came to earth and mated with a werewolf alpha. Yeah I was shocked too," I remarked Logan's look of awe.
 
 
   "So she gave birth to a girl after she went back to her realm, and when the girl came to age she got curious about her dad. Fast forward, she sneaked out of her home and came to earth in search of her father. That's when some dark force cornered her and tried to kill her, she became a spirit and was on the run when she met my own mother who was pregnant of me then, she ran into my mother and her spirit merged with me. After I was born, she manifested as my wolf and became a part of me. So now, I'm like the reincarnation of her. She's me, and I'm her."
 
 
   He had on an expected expression. I dug it. I was the same when this was all said to me too. Shocked and confused, then slowly accepted the reality.
 
 
   It's like that right now with Logan, he's on mute as he digested my explanation.
 
 
   "And let me just add that I'm also a goddess, or Demi goddess. Goddess of the moon and sea, according to Selene. I'm like the divined future ruler of all oceans."
 
 
   His mouth parted wide as he stared at me with amusement. "Wow!" He gasped, "Woah, that's cool right?"
 
 
   I wish.
 
 
   "No." The glee in his eyes shut off, "When I merged with Salome, the goddess. I became bound, and masked her goddess scent, that was what protected her from the dark force all these while. However, now that I'm unbound and no longer a powerless omega. The Dark Force will soon began his hunt for me," I explained to him.
 
 
   "So the Alpha King is not the only one we have to deal with?" He sighed, a fierce determination in his eyes.
 
 
   "Fortunately I came with this potion that'll keep my scent masked for a while, the potion should keep me protected for sometime till we are done dealing with the Alpha King," I told him about the potion brewed by Zilahna.
 
 
   "I just want you to know that I'll never let anything happen to you again. I failed the first time, and now this is my second chance. I promise to keep you safe, no matter what the cost. And if the dark force is gonna come for you, let him come, it's gonna be his funeral not yours. Don't let this haunt you or bother you okay, I don't want you stressing on it alright? We'll figure this out, I promise." His palm lifted and came up on my cheek as he rubbed on it softly.
 
 
   I melted into his touch, as a wide grin graced my lips. "Yes we will," I answered as I willingly pushed myself into his body.
 
 
   He is my mate, he is my destined soulmate. He loves me, he adores me, he wants to protect me, he wants to be my shield. Perhaps there's a happy ending waiting for me out there.
 
 
   All I know is that it's not in here, with the Alpha King. It's with Logan, anywhere he is, my happy ending is with him.
 
 
   If we're unable to get to Lucas like we planned, Linda did not only map out the palace for me, I have my powers now at my disposal.
 
 
   Linda?! That reminds me! She's on the haunt to figure out what is hidden at the control room.
 
 
   "I need you to contact someone, telepathically. Linda, my personal maid." I pulled away from Logan as I spoke with urgency. Why do I have this feeling that she's in danger?
