Myra's point of view

He gestured for me to come sit down beside him on the bed, a light smile on his face, giving friendliness to his flinty appearance.

"I'm fine on my feet," I declined his gesture, folding my arms over my chest, "I'd say don't bother yourself with avenging me because you're going to reject me the moment you learnt about my truth," I said to him.

And that's the truth. He has no idea I'm an omega, inside me lives a forbidden wolf marked for doom. He sure wouldn't accept me the moment he knows about that, for it is against the shifters law.

Omegas are meant to perish the moment they're birthed, it was a mandated conduct. They haven't been an omega for decades now, and the few that graced the earth were erased after their first breath.

If it wasn't for my parents, I wouldn't be alive right now, they never told me the story about how they kept me safe.

However, all I know was that they were banished from their origin pack and sentenced into rogues, they've lived in the woods ever since the banishment taking care of me.

The Alpha King whose name I'm yet to catch chuckled, he snatched me out of my thoughts as I pondered on his reaction.

"I know you're an omega, everyone can sniff it miles away. Although I'm hurt you think I will reject you for who you are, why would I do anything of such?"

His words softly pierced my hearing and I could feel myself melting. The Moon Goddess truly has remembered me, blessing me with a man of utter perfection.

"You are my fated, you've become a part of me to own and forever care for. I don't intend on letting you go," he further expressed himself, pushing to his feet as he closed the small space separating us.

His hand grazed the surface of my cheeks, cupping my jaw against his palm. He lifted my eyes to look more directly into his, he locked out gaze; trapping me in the allure of his enchanting dark eyes. "I want to get to know you better," he said, albeit trying to sound soft but failed miserably.

I opened my lips to talk but no words came out, I just stared in silence and fell in love with the white knight gifted to me by the moon goddess.

He leaned downward, his face coming extremely close. My nose flared at the strong whiff of his scent, it was as if he locked it in before and let it loose just now.

My stomach twisted in knots as his heavenly scents drove into my senses through my nostrils. I almost moaned, but I clapped my eyes closed to swallow it.

And while my vision was concealed I felt something soft touching my lips, soft like the winds of winter. My heart raced as I granted him permission.

Okay the anxiousness might be because this is my first kiss, and no other reason.

I was going to pull away until I felt his arm come around me pulling me super close to him that my body rested on his chest.

His warmth and strength cased me in soft embrace. I have never felt this free and alive.

I melted into his kiss, and our lips moved in perfect sync, our tongues danced in a gentle rhythm and I savor his taste.

He tasted minty, like a breath of fresh air.

He pulled away seconds later for us to catch our breaths, "I'm sorry for doing that, I was too overwhelmed by your stunning presence I totally lost control," he spoke into the silence.

'He's so the right man for us. He is really everything we've always wanted. Hot, sexy, adores us, and would kill for us..!' Salome squealed out in happiness, she jumped around my head wagging her tail.

I smiled, not only because she was right, but because the man in front of me was genuinely making me happy.

"Okay we should get to know each other, I'm Myra De Vries," I introduced myself, wanting to pull out of his arms but he tightened his hold.

"Stay still, I could have you in my arms forever," he said as he held me closer.

Fluffiness flowed into my system, my cheeks burned crimson red. He's so deep and knows how to make a girl fall in love with him.

"You're the Alpha King, are those rumors about you being a monster true?" I had to ask, he doesn't seem like a monster but he did casually committed two murders without looking for context.

"Yes they are, but you should fear nothing because I would never harm you neither let any harm come to you," he replied.

So he did slaughtered an entire pack for disrespecting him? Good Goddess! So he's truly going to burn this pack down and everyone in it.

"Wait are you really going to burn everyone in this pack?" I already know he wasn't kidding, but still I need him to reaffirm.

"Yes. They shall feel the wrath of my blazing rage for putting their filthy unworthy hands on you."

I looked up at him, anger surged through his face as he spoke.

"You shouldn't do that, I'm fine now. Killing their Luna is enough already." I worked on convincing him, this pack doesn't deserve to perish because of what they did to me, I can't sentence them to such cruel fate.

"They hurt you, I won't-"

"I know, I know they did. But they also saved me, if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be alive today, I would have wasted as a lunch for rogues when I was a child. It's a story for another day, right now I just want you to leave them alone for my sake, please," I pleaded after my brief explanation, making sure to keep our eyes in contact so as to let him feel my compassion.

"Fine," he mouthed in a forced tone. "You should pack, we leave for the werewolf capital early tomorrow morning. I'd like you to spend the night with me? That is if you're completely comfortable?"

I nearly laughed at how beautiful he looked asking that, the almighty most feared alpha king looks nervous about me rejecting not to sleep on the same bed with him. Hilarious!

'You better agree to, I need to talk to his wolf. He hasn't made a connection since, I've been reaching out to him but he kept cutting me off. Either something is wrong, or he doesn't have a wolf. And if he doesn't, how is he an alpha or mated to you?' My wolf spewed out into my thoughts, showing me straight into a wild range of confusions.

Why hasn't she connected with his wolf? Because there is no way The werewolf Alpha King doesn't have a wolf. Unless he is truly cutting Salome off.
