  Chapter 050

   Logan's point of view

When the van opened next, my strength had tipped beyond the forty percent limit I needed cause it. If my eyes weren't blocked, I'd require physical contact to hijack an individual's mind so when I sniffed a presence, I lifted my tied hands quickly to touch his body.

"Untie me." I ordered through the mental link I've established between us to relay my orders without voicing it aloud.

He worked on the ropes that bid my hands, my legs, and my eyes lastly. In no time I was freed of my restraints.

They captured the wrong Alpha. I asked him what he was here to do, because he came alone and he shouldn't have.

"I'm here to check up on you and get you on more wolfsbane."

   Interesting.

"You're going to go back to them and tell them I'm still passed out, and that you've upped my wolfsbane dosage, then you'll steal me the keys to this van, but because my hands are sore and I don't want to drive, you'll be my personal chauffeur back to the palace where I was taken. After that, you can come back, forget our interaction and join into believe that I'm still you guys' hostage." I tapped on his shoulder after I was done warping his mind.

I watched him turn around to go get my orders done. I don't know how long I've been here, but every seconds ticked by with Myra still lost to the abyss and how I have absolute zero idea on how to bring her back.

Some minutes later, the guy returned, with the van's keys as instructed.

"Are you the only one awake?" I had to ask because I'm sure it's past midnight already, and if he wasn't the only one awake then when this van moves, the sound might wake everyone up.

"Well yes, we're to take turns and watch over you. I'm the first in line, and everyone else has gone to sleep because we weren't expecting the King's beta to take this long to get here so we can get on with your murder."

"Interesting, now go start the van and get us back to the palace." He nodded as he walked over to the driver's seat.

I purposely remain inside the container and chose not to join him at the front seat. I didn't need to spectate him, plus I have things to deal with.

I'm sure he'll get us back to the palace, in the meantime I need to figure out what to do when I get to Myra.

First I'm going to enter her head and figure out what happened, how she came into coma, then hopefully learning about it will lead me to a way on how I can get her out.

I wonder if the Alpha is actively working on a way to get Myra back, or he still thinks her condition is natural.

I'm tempted to get inside his head, however I couldn't risk it. If I go in and pull the trick I pulled the last time, there's a chance he'd counter it and make me regret it.

'The other she-wolf, the omega hybrid girl. You can get into her own head and learn more about her relationship with the Alpha King, they're definitely doing more than fucking, and she might be the key to ending him,' Leo, my wolf tabled his suggestion.

But, "I usually require some kind of mental connection or physical connection to be able to get into people's head. I was able to enter Myra's mind because she's my mate, I also used her as a medium to infiltrate the Alpha King's mind. There's no connection around for me to use and get to the girl, unless I go the Alpha King who I'm sure at the sniff of me inside his head won't hesitate to kill me. I should have established a mental connection when I was with her this morning and found out she's a vital piece of the Alpha King's puzzle, or schemes," I replied him.

The van suddenly came to a stop, have we gotten back to the palace? I mean it was far ride, but nobody knows the time spent while I talked to myself.

The door to the container opened, and my victim showed himself. "We're here," he announced.

I stepped out of the container. We're truly here, wow that was fast. He even got me past the front gate and stopped in front of the mansion itself.

"You're a great guy, but I don't think I want you to return back to your pack, or your people. Now you're going to get back into your van and drive. I don't want you to die so just drive, and drive till you're far far away from here, say thousands of miles at least until you stop." I forced my will on his as he walked off to please me.

I sighed the moment I sighted two guards at the door, but fortunately I recognized them to be among those men I've mentally controlled to be on my side.

I walked up to them, they saw me and was just staring blankly at me with no reactions.

"Do any of you have any idea who Lisa is around here?" I asked about the hybrid girl.

"She's a maid, the Alpha King's personal maid," One of them responded.

"And do any of you knows where the Alpha King's mate is at?"

"She's admitted at the palace's infirmary," his colleague responded this time.

"Do any of you know where I can find this Lisa?"

"She stays at the maid's quarters,"

I'm going to kill two stones with one bird. I'm going to save Myra from her coma and expose her to Lisa's secrets at the same time.

"I need one of you to go get me Lisa, lie to her that the Alpha King wants to meet her at the infirmary. And you..." I turned to face the one on the left, "You're taking me to the palace's infirmary. Let's go."

He nodded as he opened the door for me, while his partner went off to fetch me Lisa. The palace was dry and empty, courtesy of the time, it's midnight and I'm sure everyone must be asleep by now except for the guards.

We got to the infirmary unnoticed and without anybody in sight, there was two guards I've never seen before stationed right at the door. I captured their mind as soon as they wanted to react and sent them to sleep.

"Stay here," I told the guard that brought me here as I proceed into the room.

Myra was right there laid peacefully on the bed, beautiful as ever.

I walked up to her, my palm stretched out to touch and caress her soft cheek. "I'm sorry," I whispered as I went into her memories.

Memory of her recent encounters before she went into coma flashed through my eyes, and I saw she'd been in pitch with Lisa. The same Lisa I was expecting.

She was the one behind Myra's coma, she had stab her and told her to have a nice nap. Cause right after that moment, everything went black.

I pulled myself out. If Lisa was behind Myra's predicament, then I'm sure she knows the solution. I just need to wait for her, she must be on her way now.

Subsequently, I waited for close to a minute before the door opened and Lisa showed up.

The smile on her face faded into a frown as soon as she saw me. "It's-"

I stared and worked her mind into an illusion before she could finish her sentence, something to keep her occupied while I dig through her mind for answers.

I stalked over to her and grab her head. I began my search for answers on how to save Myra. It's must be somewhere inside her mind.

I dug deeper and searched further, finally until I got the glimpses of when she found out her claws got brew curses.

She's more than just an omega hybrid, she's above eighteen and her powers have bloomed in its full potential. Her claws could form any curse of her choice and jinx anybody those claws come in contact with.

She had trap Myra in a mental coma to relive her most traumatic moment over and over again, and can only be saved by her. To stop the torture, she herself would need to go into Myra's mind and wake her up, that's the solution.

I pulled myself out of her head once again when I'm done getting my answers, I grabbed her by her neck and threw her motionless body into a wall for hurting my mate.

At least now I know how to save Myra. I ran back to Myra and pushed myself into her mind.

I arrived in the middle of the woods, and was instantly drawn to the brawls in near distance. I rushed over, to see three hooded men standing outside the farmhouse.

I ran past them and straight into the house, "Myra!" I called once I was in, my gaze doing an all around inspection of the room.

I soon found her, but in the hands of an elderly man. She had a subtle resemblance to this man and it didn't take me long to figure that must be her father.

I skipped to her side, pulled her away from the man's arms and into my embrace. "Let's get you home," I mouthed as I break the hug to hold her hand.

"Hold on young man, who are you and where did you come from? You can't just come in here, hug my daughter and say-"

His words got cut off when the sound of a door crashing down blared out, just right after was three vicious looking wolves in mighty form coming to view.

"Good Goddess, is this what you've been dealing with?" Lisa is really cruel for this. I assume this was how she lost her parent, and it's just diabolical to make her relive the memory over and over again.

I tugged on Myra's wrist and made her face me. It's time for her to wake up, "Wake Up!" I screamed gently into her face, "Snap out of it, Myra De Vries!"

Darkness descended immediately, and when my eyes peered back to a light, I was back at the infirmary with Myra's eyes slowly blinking open.

   Phew!

Her gaze pinned on the ceiling for some seconds before she trailed it to meet me, "You!" Her tone fresh with disdain.
