Of course I figured out late that the girl we have with us is no more than who her father is. I may not have even found out if I wasn't in Deena's head.

The memories I drowned my knowledge in later exposed the harsh reality that we've saved a monster with the same interest an older monster has for the fate of this world.

I was going to tell Myra the moment I walked out of that door, even if I came out devastated and a bit swung by the discovery. Still she needed to know so we could plan against it.

I had to stop myself when I saw her creeped out of her room and leaned over her doorframe to watch over us. I thought if she doesn't know that we know who she is truly underneath her helpless facade, then we might still be a step ahead of her.

So instead I spoke about a different thing with Myra, like how it's actually my intention to make her stay behind, even lied that she should with the demon baby we have with us so the girl still wouldn't have an idea that I know now about her since she's decided to eavesdrop on us.

When I was sure she'd house no doubts was when I excused myself so I wouldn't falter and give myself a way at some point.

Though I announced that I was going to get us dinner, I just wanted to get privacy so I could mind-link Myra and share the truth with her.

'Myra!' I called out after I was able to established a connection right into our minds.

'It's her. The little girl is the reason why my powers weren't working, she's sucking on my energy and her impact is so strong it left my anointment numb, hence the block I'm currently experiencing with my powers,' Myra explained to me before I could even reveal my discovery to her.

Looks like she's figured it out on her own.

'I didn't know that, but I knew she's just like her father when I was Deena's head learning all that there is to learn about the Alpha King. We're in the same city as The Alpha King's sister when she was out here growing her Jade seed to use against the Alpha King, she made more than one sword and it's kept somewhere in her apartment. The Alpha King sent his beta to find it and destroy it sometime ago but he couldn't, because he couldn't locate those swords and just thought it was wrong information that she made more than one sword. I think it's still somewhere in her house,'

'So what do we do about this little witch?' She questioned regarding the energy sucking mini devil we have with us.

'First thing first, we need to get you away from her,' I told her.

Then I proceeded to cut off our mind-link before I went to the living room where she sat in convo with the little girl.

Her head slowly creaked over to where I stood with a creepy look on her face. "I-"

I didn't give her the chance to say whatever she wanted to say before I went into her head and shut off her mind.

Perhaps if she was older she could tackle that particular attack of mine like it was easy for her father to always do, but she's still a kid and that's an advantage for me.

The moment she dropped unconscious on the couch, I rushed over to Myra and took hold of her wrist as I helped her to her feet.

"What do we do with her?" Myra asked as we made for the suite's exit.

"Well. We hope she has the same weakness as her father's. Else, we find a way to fight her, if I have to keep sending her to sleep all day and night, I'm happy to do it till I return the witch back to her father," I said back to her while on the move to leave the hotel.
