   The final showdown approaches.
 
 
   What would it be? Me versus the Alpha King in a fight for Myra's life. That's how it should be, how it's going to be.
 
 
   I know. Myra is powerful, she's now able to defend herself.
 
 
   Herself against others definitely, she tried her ability on the Alpha King and it was useless. Safe to say she wouldn't last that long in a brawl with him.
 
 
   But I have a plan. We need an upper hand if it's my goal to take out the Alpha King before the blue moon arrives. Yeah, that's a personal plan I've purposely failed to mention to Myra.
 
 
   'A suicide plan that is,' Leo, my wolf scolded against me. I don't care, if I truly want to be with Myra and be happy with her, I have to destroy the Alpha King before the blue moon.
 
 
   The first thing to do was go into my psychic mode to track down Deena, something tells me she has information about the Alpha King and unless I dig into the ugly parts of her brain, I wouldn't retrieve that useful information.
 
 
   Then after I've weighed the usefulness of whatever information obtained, I must set out alone to defeat the Alpha King and claim glory so Myra can finally life a peaceful life.
 
 
   "I know that you're in my head."
 
 
   I haven't even began my tour before Deena realized my presence. I kind of expected her to find out, just not this soon. Well it's not like there's anything she could do, I could always work past her magical mental barriers that's meant to keep me out and destroy it.
 
 
   "Will you tell me what I'm here for, or I have to get it the old fashioned way. Also, for betraying me, I've decided to leave your head in a vegetative state when I'm done with it. So save yourself now and tell me what I need to know," I conversed with her, bargained with her one last time.
 
 
   "Betrayed you?!"
 
 
   I couldn't tell what her expression was, but I could certainly assume the disbelief from her tone. She sounded like I accused her or something, like she didn't truly betray me.
 
 
   "I saved you, you idiot, and you've ruined what I worked for. I indeed went to the Alpha King like we planned, but instead of me to sign me my death sentence, I worked an out for the both of us. The Alpha King doesn't want Myra dead, he's in love with her, and you're being a pain in their love story, he wants to kill you and will do anything to achieve that goal. I had to prevent that, so I made him a deal, I told him I'll give him Myra in exchange for your life. So no, I didn't betray you, I just put you first like I've always done and will always do," she narrated to me, softly so she could play the victim card more convincingly.
 
 
   "I'm guessing you had a physical interaction with the alpha king before all of this happened right?" I asked in response to her heartfelt explanation. She had a game to play, and I have mine to win.
 
 
   She's a fool if she thinks I'm gonna fall to the whims of her manipulation. A big fool.
 
 
   "Well yes, and he caught me right off the start."
 
 
   "Thanks. That's all I need to know. That means your ability would allow you shift into him and have all his memories, his secrets, personal informations or records about him. You've done a great job Deena, it's time to actually become what you've always wanted to become." I smiled faintly in my head. "A puppet."
 
 
   It's time to take control of her mind, time to fight against her mental barriers and force my will on her.
 
 
   "Wait wait wait, Logan what are you about to do?"
 
 
   Finally, the fear I've always wanted to hear coated her voice as she questioned.
 
 
   "I'm going to make you shift into the Alpha King, since shifting into a new identity grants you knowledge of that identity, I'm going to take advantage of that and steal all the knowledge you have about the Alpha King. You're finally going to be useful to me like you've always wanted, you should be happy," with enthusiasm, I told her my plans for her.
 
 
   This is not going to be painful at all, so she shouldn't think of me as a bad guy. If anything, it was her who chose to betray my trust in her. It's her who is the bad person, her who has made a whole new different mess for me and Myra to deal with when the Alpha King has become toasted.
 
 
   "Logan no. Please, you don't know where we are? Fuck-"
 
 
   I silenced her pleas, closed my eyes more tightly from where I'm seated as I gathered on my strength to let out my psychic energy into her consciousness. Like I predicted, supernatural invisible waves came in tumbles to keep out my energy from taking over.
 
 
   Since it's a fight between forces, I strengthened my will, and in no time stomped over her barriers to take over her consciousness. I made her shift into him, the bastard from hell.
 
 
   And I watched as his memories flowed into picture, his pasts and secrets grew into Deena's mind for me to navigate and gather my intels.
 
 
   Wow. I mentally mouthed.
 
 
   This man. He is not a man at all. He's a monster, a straight one from the deepest depths of hell.
 
 
   The things he has done, and how he lacks remorse. He's done worse than the tales of his rumors. He's far worse, and he intends to do even worse.
 
 
   He truly was going to sacrifice his own daughter for a glory in the dark. That's an height to evil I've never seen before. This man is more than a monster, he's one vicious, heartless, and psychopathic creature.
 
 
   "Sorry to interrupt. Had to figure out for myself what the weirdness was about?"
 
 
   Talk about the devil. His familiar voice took base inside of Deena's head. How did he know I was here? Was he with-
 
 
   "You must have a lot of questions, but to answer all with one response. I'm giving you a full day to show your face and bring back to me what doesn't belong to you that you've taken away from me, or I'll have the every single member of your pack's head severed and hang on a spike, starting with your father." He gave out a dark chuckle after the passing of his threat.
 
 
   And then his presence vanished out of Deena's fortress.
 
 
   I don't think he realized that this was his head while he was here. That I was even going through his memories.
 
 
   He only came here to threaten me. Threaten me! To tell me what he has on me!
 
 
   He has my whole pack. Holy moon, he has my whole pack!!!!
