Chapter 175: The Kidnapping

Shiro and Ren walked down the streets of their neighbourhood with Ren walking happily with a smile and Shiro thinking how bothersome it is to have someone accompany him to shopping. However he doesn't want to bark back as it's his little brother's birthday so he decided to just swallow his annoyance inside for today.

While they were about to reach the shopping centre that's a few more meters away a black van suddenly parked right next to them. Shiro noticed it but didn't think much of it as the two continued walking. However that was his mistake.

Because a few seconds later someone appeared from behind and using a drugged-induced handkerchief they put it over Shiro's mouth. "....!" Due to how fast the person was Shiro doesn't have time to breathe as he quickly lose consciousness.

Ren turned behind upon seeing his brother got pulled back and saw the person trying to suffocate him. "Nii-san!" Ren said but not long before another person does the same thing to him. It did not take long for both brothers to pass out as the two kidnappers carried them to their van before driving off.

Moments later Shiro can be seen waking up slowly. "Oh? Boss the older one's awake." He can hear someone saying. "Finally awake boy? Took you long enough." Another person who seemed to be the boss said. Just then Shiro fully opened his eyes and was shocked.

He was tied up using a rope by a pillar and he's in a small house that looks abandoned. "...Where is this? Where the hell did you take us to?" Shiro asked. "Haha demanding answers now are we?" The boss said as he stood up from his seat and walked over to Shiro.

"...Don't get too cocky kid!" He then said as he uses his legs to kick Shiro in the chin. "Urgh?!" Shiro groaned as the kick actually hurt. "But I suppose we do owe you an explanation." The boss said as he grabbed Shiro by the collar of this shirt.

"You see kid, we are well aware you and your little brother are sons of the famous violinist, Hanagaki Riko and one of the top coaches for sports, Hanagaki Satoru. Which means your family has a lot of money. We plan to use you two to make your parents give us a lot of money as ransom. If not their sons are gonna pay." He added with a snarl.

"...Just for that you kidnapped us?" Shiro asked. "Indeed just for that. We are money seekers you see. We'll do anything for money. Including having to hurt you and your brother." The boss said. "...So you're an asshole who can't be bothered to work for money?" Shiro spat.

This made the boss slightly irritated but he tried to play cool. "Haha. Look at you trying to act tough. But sure let this be a lesson to you." He then said as he snapped his fingers. Just then one of his goons came with someone on his shoulder.

"...! Ren!" Shiro said. "Ssssh. Don't shout. Your brother is still unconscious from the beating he took just now." The boss said. "...What...did you just say?" Shiro asked. "He woke up before you you know? I asked him where to get your parents money but he refused to talk so I gave him a taste of his own medicine." The boss said with a smirk.

"But that's not the point. Since I can't get information from him I thought I could get it from you. But remember. If you refuse to talk or dare to talk back, your brother is the one who's gonna pay for the consequences." He added as he gets close to Shiro.

"...You bastard...what did my brother even do to you?" Shiro asked. "Oh don't worry we have no grudge against the both of you. But as we said we're willing to do anything for money. So talk now or we're gonna give you the best time of your lives." The boss said.

"....Tch. Fine I'll talk but on one condition." Shiro said. "Ho? And what's that?" The boss asked, intrigued. "Release Ren. If you're gonna torture someone for info at least let it be me." Shiro said. "Oya? Oya? Oya? Willing to become our toy just like that? Haha I like that. Very well." The boss said as he snapped his fingers.

"Put him somewhere else and make sure no one touches him." He added as his goons nodded as do as they're told. After they're gone the boss looks at Shiro with a creepy smile. "Now then...let's get some info from you, kid." He then added as he cracked his knuckles. "...." Shiro said nothing as he braced himself.
