Chapter 114: Inner Dignity

A few days have passed and the day the members of Elysian are supposed to release their new song is here. The members of Trickstar decided (by themselves) that they want to help Elysian out so they went to the lesson room to do the last few rehearsals early in the morning.

"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight." Subaru said as he claps while Shiro, Ren and Ito moved to the beat with the music. They did this a few more times before stopping for a break. "Good work you three! Here you go refreshments!" Makoto said as he hands the three their water bottles.

"Thank you very much Ukki-senpai!" Ren said as he receives the bottle. The other two also does the same. "Ukki-senpai...Ne Ren-kun you're not calling me that because of Akehoshi-kun are you?" Makoto asked. "Hm? But Akkun's nickname for you is Ukki right? That's why it's Ukki-senpai!" Ren said.

"...I see?" Makoto said. "Haha I've thought about this before but you're as interesting as ever Ren. It's really never a boring time with you three." Mao said with a smile. "I'll take that as a compliment thank you!" Ren said. "...iiya because it is." Mao said with a sweatdrop. "But I gotta say I'm quite curious." Hokuto asked. "Hm? What's wrong?" Ren asked while Shiro and Ito were curious about what Hokuto is going to say.

"Why is that your song title?" Hokuto asked. "Ah I was curious about that too. Even though it's just a title it feels slightly different from the others. Not saying I hate it though." Makoto said. "Nii-san explanation please~!" Ren said. "...Really? Just dumping it all to me?" Shiro asked with a sigh.

"I mean you're the one who made the song and the changes in the first place right?" Ren said. "......Fair enough." Shiro said. "As always you're weak to your brother Shirochin!" Subaru said. "...Shut it. He just has a point that's all." Shiro said.

"Back to the topic I made that the title because it applies to everyone else, not just us. I tend to create titles which has meanings to it to the songs I create so that it resonates better to the audience. That's how I write." He then said. "I see. As expected. I'm sure the audience will understand the meaning." Hokuto said.

"....Why do you sound so proud?" Shiro asked with his eyebrows raised. "Because I can and I am proud to be your friend." Hokuto said "...I don't really understand but whatever you say." Shiro said. "Hai hai break is over we don't have much time till the actual live so I want to rehearse as much as I can!" Ren said.

"True. Then let's continue. Takasaki-kun are you good to go too?" Makoto said. "E-Eh?! Ah...H-Hai!" Ito said a he stood up. "Yosh Akehoshi." Hokuto said. "Hai hai~!" Subaru said before they continued.

A few hours later the stage where Elysian will perform their new song is packed with people. The audience includes Switch, Trickstar and the members of Elysian's dorm members, all awaiting for the live to start.

At the same time the members of Elysian are at the backstage in their backroom doing one last rehearsal in their own ways. Shiro listening to the song, Ren doing the dance moves and Ito helping by humming the melody. About 5 minutes later the staff knocks and enters the room.

"Elysian, you're up in 5!" He said. Shiro took off his airpods he was using to listen to the music and stood up from his seat. "...Yosh it's time. Ren do the honors this time." He said. "Leave it to me! We made a song that's quite different from our usual ones and outfits were even made quickly. So today we're going to sing our lungs out without holding back!" Ren said as the other two nods.

"...With our black wings we'll fall and descend, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲..." "𝗘𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻!" Ren starts the catchphrase as Ito and Shiro continued. They then head to the stage. Once they appeared the audience screamed loudly as they were waiting for them.
