𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹. 𝗔𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗶 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆
"What do you mean Yumenosaki Academy is gonna shut down?!" Tori asked. Shinobu said nothing because he got scared from Tori's shouting. "Calm down Tori." Mao said. "Don't shout so loud. Everyone's still exhausted from yesterday's Repayment Festival, or rather White Chocolate Fes. We can barely keep ourselves standing right now." He added.
"Look Sengoku over there looks like he's about to pass out, you startled him." He then said. "Ahh....m-my ears are ringing-degozaru..." Shinobu said. "Fufu. You are as adorable as a small animal." Yuzuru said. "Fushimi-dono why are you hiding under the desk?" Souma asked.
"I assumed we were under attack." Yuzuru said. "Stop joking around and listen to me seriously!" Tori said. "I am listening seriously. But if you want a proper conversation you need to calm down first." Mao said. "Don't act so high and mighty!" Tori said with a 'hmph'.
"I'm already set to be the next Student Council President and now that your term is over, Isara-senpai you're just a regular student. I don't need to listen to you anymore!" He then said. "Don't ignore the voice of the people. Are you planning to become a tyrant?" Mao asked with a sigh.
"Shut up! Just explain everything in a way that satisfies me! Seriously what's going on? This morning ES suddenly announced that starting next year, Yumenosaki Academy will be gone?" Tori said. "Technically saying it'll be gone isn't entirely accurate." Yuzuru said.
"According to ES's announcement, starting next year Yumenosaki Academy, along with other idol training schools like Reimei Academy and Shuuetsu affiliated with CosPro, they'll all be merged into a single educational institution called 'ES Academy'." He then said.
"Yumenosaki Academy will be named 'ES Academy, Yumenosaki Branch' meaning the name 'Yumenosaki Academy' will disappear. The school building itself won't be demolished though. Personally I think calling it a closure is an exaggeration. In fact it's more of a rebranding than anything else." He added.
"Do you really think so? Do you seriously think I'll just accept such a sugar-coated explanation Yuzuru? You're underestimating me! There's no way this is just a name change! I used my personal connection to dig into the financials so I know the truth!" Tori said.
"ES is using this so-called ES Academy to impose its identity and seize full control of Yumenosaki! The school's exterior, interiors, uniforms, everything will be revamped and standardized under the ES Academy brand. They're planning to repaint the walls, tear down unnecessary facilities and build new ones under the name of ES Academy." He then said.
"They're basically turning all the unique idol training schools across the country into cookie-cutter, mass-produced institutions! Like those soulless chain cram schools that have no character or charm! This isn't some conspiracy theory, mind you. The financial records clearly shows their inten and future plans!" He added.
"You've grown so much Bou-chama. This Yuzuru is almost moved to tears." Yuzuru said. "Stop joking! I'm being serious here!" Tori said with his arms crossed. "Even so...Look I get that you're upset but ES has already made their decision. There's really not much we can do." Mao said.
"The funding's in place, staff has been assigned and construction has already begun. Complaining won't change anything." He added. "Haha. I agree. But that is an unexpected take coming from someone in 'Torickstar'." Souma said.
"I've grown up too after all. High school's almost over for me." Mao said. "Stop chatting and listen to me! I refuse to accept this ES Academy! Why do they always make these big decisions without consulting me first?!" Tori said, still upset.
"Do you think you're some kind of king? There's no law that says they need your permission before making business decisions." Mao said. "But we're the current students of Yumenosaki! Don't you think it's only said for them to at least hear us out? Making decisions behind our back like this is shady and unfair!" Tori said.
"They could've gone through proper procedures! This feels like a sneak attack and I hate it!" He added. "You say that but we're just the student council. We're not the academy's management team and we don't have the authority to interfere with their decisions. When the administration makes a call we can't exactly defy them. That's just how it works." Mao said.
