"Hm. If I recall correctly he talks like this. Excuse me. There's something I'd like to ask you." HiMERU said. "Ah...yeah what's up? Why are you being so serious all of a sudden?" Jun asked confused. "Please wait a moment. HiMERU needs to refer to his memory. Hm you are Sazanami Jun correct?" HiMERU said.
"Ah? Why do you even need to ask? Why do you act as if we see meeting for the first time? Are you pretending like there's no value in remembering me so you've forgotten about me?" Jun asked. "That pisses me off you know. Even my shitty father says it's worse then death to be forgotten as an idol." He then said with a sigh.
"Well I'm not great enough to call myself an idol yet." He then said. "Well that attitude...Are you HIMERU's friend perhaps?" HIMERU asked. "I wouldn't really call us friends. Well not strangers either. But definitely not close enough to be called friends. Of course if you think of me as a friend I'd be happy though." Jun said.
"Is that so? Looks like you have some sort of connection with HiMERU. It might be a fortunate thing. Do you know what HiMERU is doing and where he is?" HiMERU asked. "Excuse me? I have no idea what you're talking about. What's HiMERU doing..I mean aren't you right in front of me? Is this supposed to be some kind of riddle?" Jun asked.
"Hm let's rephrase the question then. Did you hear anything about where HiMERU was planning to be today?" HiMERU asked. "Why are you asking me that? Why would I know about your schedule? You're just as weird as before." Jun asked.
"Indeed. HiMERU is a very intriguing individual." HiMERU said seemingly proud. "Seriously why are you talking as if it's about someone else?" Jun asked. "Anyways Kazehaya-san seems to be planning a performance on the new stage today or tomorrow. And you said something about wanting to perform there as well?" He then said.
"Aren't you training every day for that purpose lately because it's a rare opportunity to perform alongside Kazehaya-san? You were so preoccupied with the training that you even skipped classes and other stuff." He added. "Indeed. No clue on this side as well. How confusing." HiMERU said.
"HiMERU is always obedient and never goes against instructions. Lately, however he seems to be busy with something without making proper reports. It is very strange. There are many things in the reports that do not match the facts. Which is suspicious." He then said.
"This is why there's a need to come all the way here and investigate the truth . A need to meet HiMERU in person and confirm various things. Plus it would be good to watch HiMERU's performance from up close." He added.
"...What's wrong with you? Are you alright? What's with all those nonsense?" Jun asked. "Well I guess this aspect of you isn't too bad. You still look like a perfect idol from the outside but not so once people find out about your true nature." He then said.
"HiMERU is perfect from inside through outside." HiMERU said. "...Yeah yeah you keep saying that but it's all bark and no bite. Even though people say you're the top idol of Reimei Academy I've heard you made a lot of mistakes. Like confusing the names of your clients and messing up your singing and dancing on stage." Jun said with a sigh.
"....?" HiMERU titled his head in confusion. "The management probably covered those mistakes for you because they didn't want Reimei Academy's reputation tarnished but the non-honored students often make fun of you." Jun said as HiMERU kept quiet.
"But at least you're on stage HiMERU. How enviable. You might be terrible right now but eventually you'll become a real idol once you've gained enough experience. So hang in there. Don't give up. Hopefully you won't fall to the rock bottom where I am now. I'm rotting for you, kinda. You're weird. But I can tell you're serious about becoming an idol." Jun then said.
"What do you mean?" HiMERU asked. "...Hai?" Jun asked back. "Isn't HiMERU the perfect top-class idol that everyone acknowledges?" HiMERU asked. "Come on that's your own wishful thinking. Why's your self-esteem so high when you ain't even that good as an idol?" Jun asked with a sigh.
"Did you get carried away because people started to call you a top idol,m but wait you've been like that since the first time we met." He then said. "...It's can't be...but no way....Sazanami Jun. Your information is appreciated. I must excuse myself. I need to verify these facts quickly." HiMERU said.
"...Sure but why did you even come here anyway?" Jun asked. "Haha. I really don't get you from the first time we met until now. In this Reimei Academy where everything keeps changing for the worse perhaps having even one thing that remains unchanged would be a form of salvation." Jun said with a chuckle.
