Chapter 152: Resting Time

After the song was done the five of them immediately went to check the recording. This time though, compared to the previous tries, their movements seemed much better. No one is slower or faster than the others. "Yosh! We're getting the hang of this!" Ren said happily.

"Just like we thought the rhythm is the problem. But at least we managed to overcome it." Yuta said. "...Yeah. But don't get cocky just because we know what we're missing. It's only one recording with a much better synchronization. We're going to practice more." Shiro said. "Hai./Hai~!" Yuta and Hinata said respectively.

"Okay~!/Mhm...!" Ren and Ito said respectively. The five of them then decided to continue for about 2 more hours, just to practice their footwork. Once that's done they decided to end for the day as there are still more things to do after that.

They went their separate ways with Shiro, Ren and Hinata going back to their dorms and Ito and Yuta going to a studio they booked to create the choreography. The five then started to do their own things after that.

Ren decided to take a break and talk to Mika who also just came back from his job, Hinata decided to rest for a while more before going out again for karaoke with the rest of Puffy Bunny, and Shiro decided to stay in his dorm to see if he could make any changes to the song.

In Ren's and Mika's room, they talked about what they did today and how it was. "You see Elysian and 2wink are chosen to participate in the upcoming ES Food of Wars. As a result we have to cook and create a song to sing." Ren said. "Eh? You have to cook an' create a song? How does that even work?" Mika asked.

"Who knows? But so far the progress is getting good. We managed to improve our coordinated movements and we're going to practice more tomorrow." Ren said. "I see but that's nice ya know? I mean I dunno about da details but it looks fun!" Mika said.

"Haha I know what you mean! Ah but they also said there'll be a unit from either agency from the pair to sing and dance on stage for the opening. Is Valkyrie the one?" Ren asked. "Nah I don' think so. Oshi-san and I didn't get any message from ES so I think we're not the ones. Plus Oshi-san is still in Paris so it may be difficult for him to rush back." Mika said.

"That's true. If it's not Valkyrie then I wonder who." Ren said. "They said those participating in the Food of Wars are also not eligible to sing at the opening which means Elysian and 2wink are also out." He then said.

"That leaves Eden, Crazy B, Knights, Switch and MaM." Mika said. "Then let's guess by elimination. Sena-senpai and Tsukinaga-senpai are still at Florence so Knights is probably out. Personally I don't think Saegusa-san would want Eden to sing for a competition like the Food of Wars so I think Eden is out too." Ren said.

"Mikejima-senpai doesn't seem to be interested in it and maybe doin' his own things to even bother so MaM is out. That gives us Switch and Crazy B." Mika said. "Yep. Between these two I wonder who will be the one. Or perhaps it's a plot twist and it's actually one of the units we eliminated." Ren said.

"Ahaha that's possible." Mika said. "What about you Mika-senpai? How's your job today?" Ren asked. "Oh about that it was very interestin'. I got to work with Nazuna-nii again after so long and it was da best!" Mika said.

"Haha you really love Nito-senpai don't you?" Ren said. "Of course! We may no longer be in the same unit but our friendship won't change." Mika said. "I see. Good for you. Oh and Hinata-kun mentioned something about him going to karaoke with the rest of Puffy Bunny. If I'm not wrong you're part of the shuffle unit right?" Ren asked.

"N-Nya?! Y-You're right! I was too excited to be with Nazuna-nii I completely forgotten!" Mika said. "Ahaha! Then that makes me glad I get to remind you of it. I don't think he'll go off early so we can talk a bit more before you head out." Ren said. "Sure. I wanna talk more with ya too." Mika said as the two continued talking.
