𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿
𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗶 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆'𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲...In the end nothing changed. Everything's futile. Meaningless. Worthless. Kazehaya-san gave it his all yet Reimei Academy still feels like hell. Or rather it's somehow became worse. The honored students led by HiMERU are overjoyed. They finally get to stand on the stage of their dreams by robbing Kazehaya-san of his job opportunities.
They are obviously exhilarated. They laugh like they're celebrating victory all while behaving arrogantly. Not only that the hostility from the honored students against the non-honored students is worse then ever. How ironic. Kazehaya-san wished for a future where everyone could live in peace as close friends but look at this place now.
Until recently the group of the Catacombe which consists mostly of non-honored students has been taking jobs from the honored students. Maybe with such a grudge they've been acting oddly aggressive. They even started to insult and use violence out in public. What is the police doing? This is clearly not right.
We non-honored students are treated completely as enemies by the honored students now. Like we were treated by servants but now we are treated like pests. Everyone wants to trample on us. Yet strangely the non-honored students didn't run away.
Everyone probably thinks the tables will be turned again once Kazehaya-san recovers and comes back. I don't really get them and I try to stay away from the non-honored students except for the members of Celestial. Hopefully they aren't plotting something weird.
They still gather in the Catacombe engaging in some suspicious activities. I have a bad feeling about this. The non-honored students had a brief moment to be in the spotlight thanks to Kazehaya-san. They became idols for once. They fulfilled their dreams and were wrapped in sparkling radiance.
They learned the joy of living for the first time in their life. But the situation changed and the things they had were snatched away by the honored students again. The non-honored students have every reason to resent the honored students.
Even those who had given up because they thought 'it couldn't be helped' before now had a feeling of 'it can be helped' after the experience they had. The non-honored students got a taste of success thanks to Kazehaya-san. They knew they could gain success and happiness even without being honored students.
That's why they are even more unsatisfied right now with the imposed titles of 'honored' and 'non-honored' students. The non-honored student started to question the absurd system in Reimei Academy. And they suffered great anxiety being constantly subjected to that environment.
Someone's gonna explode for sure. You said humans will treat anyone who deprives them of their benefits as enemies and hate them right HiMERU? And that's why the honored students are being even more harsh and cruel on the non-honored students.
But now the non-honored students are starting to hate the honored students as well, as the enemies who kicked them out of their spotlight. It wasn't like this before. The animosity was there but it wasn't as intense. We were just neighbors who found each day a little annoying.
Now we have become enemies who resent each other. While all Kazehaya-san wished for was love the only thing that's growing is hatred. For now the members of Celestial, Shiro-senpai, Reo-senpai and Ren-kun are secretly trying to debut as an idol unit to help Kazehaya-san out but who knows how long it'll last. The two forces that hate each other are head to head in this small world of Reimei Academy. It is like an explosive here. A tiny flicker of fire will make it explode. Leading to a tragedy that destroys everything.
...Maybe that's actually good. A garbage school like this needs it be destroyed and demolished entirely. Jun thought. Just then someone's voice called. "Oi." It was HiMERU. "...?! Oh eh?! HiMERU." Jun said surprised. "H-Huh? Why are you here? It's been a while since you went back to the dorms for the honored students." He added.
"Did you forget something here?" He then asked. "...Tsk. So you know HiMERU." HiMERU said. "....?" Jun tilted his head in confusion. "Well there probably aren't many people who don't know him at this point. 'I' helped him to reach the top after all. It would make me troubled if he didn't gain that much recognition after all the support 'I' provided." HiMERU said.
"...When did you start calling yourself like that? A change of character? Well you do suit that arrogant type of character more with your pretty face." Jun said.
[Ngl I was about to scold Jun because he took almost the whole chapter. Thank goodness HiMERU came.]
