Chapter 172: Siblings Moment

Once Shiro successfully brought the young boy home he continued on with his walk as he went back to where he was before helping the young boy. When he reached the shopping centre there he stopped in his tracks and sighed. "...I know you're there. Get the hell out before I make you." He said as he turned behind.

There were a few seconds of silence but eventually someone stepped out of a hiding spot, revealing the person to be Ren. "...As expected of Nii-san. I really can't seem to hide from you." Ren said with a sigh.

"...It's you again. Since when were you following me?" Shiro asked. "Since the start. I knew you wouldn't listen no matter what so I didn't sleep and waited for you." Ren said. "...Tch." Shiro said. "And what are you going to do now? Complain to the rest?" He then asked.

"Nah there's no point. Then again I suggest we both go back to the Seishou Hall. It's still dangerous and I can't help but feel like there's still hiding reporters hiding in secret." Ren said. "...I refuse. I still have something I need to do." Shiro said. "...Don't be an idiot. Your real parents' death anniversary is not tomorrow. It's the day after." Ren said shocking Shiro.

"...Impossible! How did you..?!" Shiro asked. "It's no surprise I know. I'm your adopted little brother after all." Ren just said. "...? ...Adopted little brother? What do you mean by that?" Shiro asked. "Exactly what it means. A few years after you were sent to an orphanage I visited the place with my parents." Ren explained.

"They wanted me to have a new sibling so I don't feel so lonely without them around. And that's when I met you for the first time." He added.

"You were sitting near the window looking so bored. But what really caught my attention was when one of the other children from the orphanage got hurt and cried you sighed probably thinking it was a drag before you stood up and carried them to the teacher who was too busy to notice." He then said with a chuckle.

"...." "...And that's when I made my decision. I really want to have you as my brother." Ren said with a smile remembering the days. "...You decided just from that?" Shiro asked with a sigh. "Yep. After all it tells me you're caring in your own way and you don't mind being alone." Ren said.

"...And when I told my parents about it and saw how happy I was they agreed immediately and decided to adopt you as a Hanagaki. That's how it all started." He then said. "...Assuming what you said is the truth, how does that lead to us becoming idols?" Shiro asked.

"...Ahhhh that's kind of a long story." Ren said. "...?" "Let's just say we didn't have the best start of our lives as brothers." Ren said with a sigh. "...Why? Did we have a fight or something?" Shiro asked. "No it's not that. We still got along well as usual but all I can say we both suffered a lot. Both as kids and when we entered Reimei Academy." Ren said.

"...Reimei Academy? Isn't that an idol training school? Why did we choose to go there?" Shiro asked. "You're not wrong. But we were in the non-honoured student course. You were already a non-honoured student when I first entered school. I initially went there to become an idol." Ren said.

"Nii-san you weren't interested at all but you wanted to help out so you decided to give being an idol a go. But stuffs happened and it sort of failed. The failure was so bad we had to stop school for a while until we eventually decided to transfer to Yumenosaki Academy." He added.

"...Har? How and why?" Shiro asked. "Well that's because I because of a unit called DEADMANZ. When I thought I could give up in becoming an idol their songs gave me hope. That's why I decided to transfer to Yumenosaki Academy. And I sort of convinced you to come along." Ren said.

"...So it's basically your fault I became an idol again." Shiro said. "Ahaha." Ren said with a smile. "But on the bright side our lives did became much better after transferring. We made new friends, we healed from our wounds and became a unit together with Ito-senpai." He added.

"Everyday became even more fun and I came to really love Yumenosaki. I don't know about you though." He then said. "....Not like I hate hearing your experience but we're getting a little off topic here." Shiro said with a sigh.

"Oh you're right. My bad~!" Ren said. "...Anyways back to the point. You don't have to rush. After all their anniversary is not tomorrow." He then said. "...Don't tell me the obvious. I know their anniversary is the day after. But I just feel the need to get them flowers as soon as possible." Shiro said.

"Why?" Ren asked. "...I don't know. But I feel like I'll be guilty if I don't do it soon." Shiro said. "...Is that so? I've got no choice then. Let's do it tomorrow." Ren said. "Huh?" Shiro asked. "Don't 'Huh?' me. I may not know your real parents but I wanna thank them for being able to meet you and get myself the best brother I could have gotten." Ren said.

"....What's with that? I don't even know how close we are in the first place." Shiro said with a sigh. "Oh don't worry about it we are VERY close!" Ren said with a smile. "....Creep." "...! H-How?!!" The brothers kept quiet for a while but after that Ren started laughing and Shiro started to relax a bit more. The two then continued talking as they walked back to Seishou Hall.
