A while later Ibara appeared on stage again. "Everyone once again thank you for waiting the ES Food of Wars will be commencing soon!" Ibara said as the audience screamed excitedly.
"Let's first have the first time to come up on stage. From the Starmaker Production and Rhythm Link pair, Isara Mao-shi, Yuuki Makoto-shi, Hidaka Hokuto-shi, Keito Hasumi-shi and Kanzaki Souma-shi!" He added as the five of them appeared.
They're wearing the chef's outfit except Hokuto and Keito wears the hat. "Next from the Cosmic Productions and New Dimensions pair, we have His Honor Hanagaki Shiro-shi, Hanagaki Ren-shi, Takasaki Ito-shi, Aoi Hinata-shi and Aoi Yuta-shi!" He then said as the five of them entered the stage.
"Contestants let it be known to you all that you will have 30 minutes to cook before you have to perform your new song. Now that that's said both teams please say a sentence to the other team!" Ibara said.
"So if you're our opponents huh? Sorry to say but victory is assured for us. Don't bother trying to beat us." Hokuto said. "...Ah? Don't get cocky Hidaka. If you want to be all bark and no bite do it to another person. Unlike you I can prove that my team is the better one." Shiro said.
"Ho? Bold words. But I wonder if you really can back it up." Keito said as he moves his glasses up. "Haha don't underestimate us, my seniors. Or else we'll be the ones who will have the last laugh." Hinata said with a smirk.
"Woah there this seems like both teams have declared war on each other! I'm looking forward to how well they'll do! Well then both teams please get to your respective positions!" Ibara said as the ten of us did just that.
"Time is precious so please make use of it wisely. After the song break you will have another 10 minutes to continue so do not worry if you couldn't finish it in the first half. With that said the ES Food of Wars, will start now!" He added as the timer that's shown on the screen starts to 30 minutes.
For the Starmaker Production and Rhythm Link team(which I will just call the StarLink team from now), Keito has already assigned Souma to be in charge as he is the only one who can actually cook in the team.
"I will do the cooking so in the meantime Hidaka-dono I want you to make the Soy Sauce Kaeshi." Souma said. "Got it. What should I do?" Hokuto asked. "Mix the light soy sauce and the white soy sauce in a small bowl." Souma said.
Hokuto nodded in response as he took the light and white soy sauce from the table. There's only 2 on that table so it was easy for Hokuto to figure out where it is. He then poured the light soy sauce first before adding in the white soy sauce. He then used a small spoon to mix it.
"Isara-dono, Hasumi-dono please wash the Aizu Chicken and cut them into scraps." Souma said. "Sure!" Mao said. "Leave it to us." Keito said. Keito first washes the chicken before handing them to Mao. Souma then told Mao to cut the chicken on the cutting board.
Mao follows and cut the chicken into pieces. "Once done I want you to immediately put them into a bowl. Another bowl aside from what Hidaka-dono is doing." Souma said. "Roger that!" Mao said as he quickly cuts and puts the chicken scraps into a new bowl.
"Yuuki-dono once Isara-dono is done I want you to put Shiraga Negi, Shiso Leaves and Dried Plums for the seasonings to the bowl. After that mix it well." Souma said. "Okay got it!" Makoto said as he waits to do his part.
Meanwhile Souma starts preparing the pot as he pours some water into it. He then on the stove to boil the water for a bit. "Kanzaki, what we should do about the bones?" Keito asked. "Leave those to me. I will need to use them later." Souma said. "...? I don't get it but sure." Keito said as he nods.
At the same time for the CosPro and NewDi pair(which I will just call CosDi from now on) Shiro is the one leading as he has more experience in cooking than the rest. "...I'll make the sauce so in the meantime Hinata and Yuta I want you two to make the rice." Shiro said.
"Yes sir!" The two from 2wink said with a salute before heading to work. "....Ren, cut the pork belly into 5 centimetres blocks and put them into the pot for them to boil for ten minutes." Shiro said. "Okay!" Ren said as he does his part.
"....Ito, help me in making the sauce. I will slice the ginger, chop the bok choy into quarters and blanch. You'll cut the green parts of the spring onions and chop it. Can you do that?" Shiro asked. "O-Okay! I'll...try!" Ito said as he starts cutting on the cutting board while Shiro does his work too.
