Chapter 161: The Half-Assed King

Hours later Shiro and Ito are at a booked lesson room waiting for Ren to come from school. The two decided to warm up first so as to not waste time. While Ito is doing his own stretching he took a glance at Shiro who is doing his leg stretches.

....King...he looks...fine on the outside but...there's no way....he's not affected right...? After all...when we were on the way....the surrounding people were....looking at him...as if he's a monster....Ito thought.

While Ito is still thinking and worried for his King, Shiro finished up his leg stretches and stood up to start practicing. Just then footsteps can be heard from outside the room. Ito turned his head to the door and seconds later the door opened.

From there Ren was seen panting and he still has his Yumenosaki uniform on. "Ah...R-Ren-kun...!" Ito said. He's sweating a lot...he must have...ran right after...school ended.... Ito thought. "Nii-san! I...!" "....Talk later. We have lessons to do." Shiro said without looking back.

"Ah...Oh right..." Ren said before he comes in and finds a corner to hide himself to change clothes. Once he's done the three of them start practicing. Since Shiro is still not done with the new song they decided to dance to the songs they have already sung starting with Dramatic Nonfiction.

At first it was going well. The three of them are, at the moment, moving to the beat. A while later while still dancing Shiro is seen thinking about something.

"....." "....san..." "....." "....Nii-san!" Ren said, causing Shiro to stop moving. "....What?" He asked. "...iiya don't 'what?' us. The song already ended so why are you still dancing?" Ren asked. "...Ah? Ahhh...." Shiro said before realising the music is no longer on.

"K-King....are you okay...? If you're feeling...unwell...we can stop for today....and continue tomorrow...." Ito said. "...No I'm fine. I just spaced out for a moment from concentration." Shiro said as he looked away. "....Is that so? Then let's go to the next song." Ren said as the other two nods before dancing to NEO THEORY FANTASY.

Once again the starting few minutes were fine with no issues. However when Ren took a glance at Shiro, he noticed his movements are getting slightly slower. At first he paid no mind. But the more the song continues the more mistakes he sees. Finally he sighed. "...HOLD THE HELL UP!" He shouted surprising both Ito and Shiro, making them stop.

He then went to pause the music. "...What is it this time?" Shiro asked. "Ah? Don't 'what is it this time?' like you're not the problem here!" Ren said. "...Ah? What are you on about?" Shiro asked. "Don't play dumb. You're not fine. Even someone as dumb as me can tell that!" Ren said.

"...And I said I'm fine! I just got distracted a bit!" Shiro said. "You damn liar! As if you're fine! I won't believe the crap that you actually don't give a damn about what people say to you after that scandal!" Ren said. "....I really don't give a damn! I don't care how people perceive me as!" Shiro said.

"Then explain to me why you made so many mistakes to NEO THEORY FANTASY in the second half?! If you really don't give a damn why are you spacing out which is so unlike you?!" Ren said. "....Tch." Shiro said as he looked away since he couldn't argue with that.

"...Ahh...Awawa..." Ito said as he looked at Shiro and then Ren. The two were almost at a heated argument and all he could do was watch. "...Why?" Ren then asked. "...Ah?" "...Why are you always not telling us anything?! I don't get it!" Ren said. "...Of course you don't! You're not me!" Shiro said.

"I know that! But I want to help you! Even Ito-senpai is worried about you! Yet all you ever did was shoo us away as if it's none of our business! In that aspect how are you different from Tatsumi-senpai?!" Ren said shocking Shiro.

"...You bastard...!" Shiro said as he glared at Ren. "What? I'm not wrong aren't I? Like Tatsumi-senpai you're trying to suffer all by yourself! You're not trying to share your problems with us! You hate Tatsumi-senpai? What a joke! It's as if you're saying you hate yourself!" Ren said.

"......っ" "...Ne Nii-san. Answer me." Ren said with a pained expression. "....Are we...that unreliable to you?" He then said. "......" "....You can't answer me huh? Then I'm going back to Seishou Hall.." Ren said. "...E-Eh?! R-Ren-kun?!" Ito said.

"Sorry about this Ito-senpai. But I don't plan to continue practicing with someone who's half assed about what he's doing. I know he always keeps things to himself but I don't know of a Hanagaki Shiro who is this mentally weak. Nii-san. When you go back, look at yourself in the mirror. Then you'll understand why you're so half-baked now." Ren said before packing his stuffs and leaving.

"Ah Ren-kun!" Ito said. But Ren did not stop and continued walking without looking back. ...This is quite a situation. Shadow said. King is usually the one confronting people and now he's the one getting confronted. By his younger brother no less. He then said.

"....Ito you should go back too." Shiro said. "Eh? B-But..." Ito said. "....If Ren says I'm half-baked now then there's no point in continuing. Besides...I just...want some time alone..." Shiro said. "....King..." Ito said. "....O-Okay. B-But call me...if you really need...anything...." He then said before he slowly packs his stuffs.

Before he steps out of the room he takes a quick glance at Shiro worriedly before walking away leaving Shiro alone just like he wanted.
