Ash, Liko and Navi sit together in a restaurant as they try out Ditto-themed parfait. Dot, Ult and Roy disappear into a nearby grocery store. As the trainers enjoy the sweet treat, a man in a suit and tie approaches them. "Excuse me, I couldn't help but notice how squishy that Ditto is. Do you mind if I squeeze it?
"Huh?" Liko asked, "Why do you wanna squeeze a Pokemon?"
"Navi doesn't mind!" Navi handed Ditto over to the man.
He squeezes Ditto gently and lets out an overjoyed cry. "Oh, that was the best squish I've had today!"
"I don't get it." Ash stated.
"Apologizes, World Monarch." The man began, "I'm Yakata and I'm doing some Squipokacts."
"Squip-what?" Liko asked.
"It's short for Squishy Pokemon Admiring Activites." Yakata explained, "I've used it to find releif after a long shift in Castelia City.
Yakata sends out his Pyukumuku, Snom, and Pincurchin and they smother his face. "Doesn't that hurt?" Liko asked.
"Oh no, quite the opposite." Yakata said, "It's a source of bliss." His eyes widen all of a sudden. "Say, would you like to join me in some Squipokacts? Some of my friends said there are some rare squishy Pokemon nearby and I'd be honored to have the World Monarch join me!"
Navi beamed up at Yakata before turning to Ash and Liko. "Can we?"
Ash and Liko shared a look of playful defeat, "Okay, fine."
Yakata leads the group outside where they watch a Golem as it sit atop a cliff, "Wait, Golem's a squishy Pokemon?" Ash asked, "But it's a rock type, that's not squishy at all!"
"You'd be right, but once a year Golem sheds its shell and the new shell will be really squishy." Yakata explained, "But it hardens as soon as it hits the air, so we gotta time this right."
The Golem suddenly begins the shedding process. "There it is! The shedding has begun!" Yakata yelled, causing the Golem to spot them and use Explosion, disappearing over the cliff.
"Oh dear, I'm sorry." Yakata stared at the trainers apologetically before leaving a mossy rock where the Golem once sat.
"It's alright, I'm sure there's other Pokemon around." Ash reassured.
Yakata leads the group to the nearby beach where they spot a Shellder. "While Shellder has a hard shell, it also has a squishy center within." he explained.
The Shellder spots them and dons a glare. Ash smirks and pulls out a Poke Ball, "Alright, looks like it wants a battle!"
Yakata rushed to stand in between the two parties, "Don't! The rules of Squipokacts state that you cannot place a burden on a squishy Pokemon."
"Rules?" Liko asked, "But we're just squishing Pokemon."
"Ah, you have so much to learn." Yakata stated before handing them a stack of cards, "Thankfully I made these karuta cards, they contain every rule I've found, all 108 of them."
"Uh, Yakata." Ash began, "The Shellder's gone."
Yakata turned around to find the beach empty, "Oh dear, I'm sorry." he suddenly perked up, "Say, why don't I make it up to you? I'll let you use my Pyukumuku and we can try out some Pyukumuku chucking. An activity from the Alola region!"
"Navi wants to try!" Navi eagerly exclaimed.
"Well I'm the Alola Champion and I've never tried that." Ash said, "Count me in!"
Navi grabs Yakata's Pyukumuku and gives it a quick squeeze before tossing it into the nearby ocean. She giggles as Pyukumuku surfs back to the shore. Ditto transforms into Pyukumuku as Navi hands the real Pokemon into Ash's hands before grabbing Ditto. Liko and Meowscarada watch on and shake their heads as Ash and Navi toss the Pokemon gleefully into the ocean.
