Stefan: Getting ready in the morning was an ordeal to say the least. Hell, getting up in the morning even proved a struggle most days. You would constantly find yourself getting distracted during the process of readying yourself for the day- be it getting too caught up with your singing in the shower, your dance routine becoming too elaborate or your mirror-front performances taking centre stage while your morning routine became less of a priority.

You had managed to stagger your way out of bed and stumble into the shower- the hot water waking you up and preparing you for the day that lay ahead. Jumping out of the shower, you made your way in front of the mirror, quickly getting dressed as you studied your wet hair, huffing to yourself before taking to it with the hair dryer.
Your head was overrun with competing memories, thoughts and scenarios to pass the time as you acted out the dull task- your mind seeming to stick to a recent argument you had had with Tyler. And as these things go- your witty intellect had only now just come up with plausible retaliations to his arrogant remarks. So, planning for the next inevitable clash the two of you would have, you began practicing your comebacks in the mirror.
"Ah Tyler," You sighed into the mirror, an incredibly bitter and hostile tone in your voice, "Maybe one day you'll grow up." You sneered. "And perhaps then the outweigh of brawn over brains may even itself out."
The action itself may had seemed crazy to any outside viewing, but finally being able to let out these harsh, resentful words let a feeling of ease wash over you, and lifted a huge weight off of your chest.
"But let's not get too ahead of ourselves." You scoffed, switching off the hairdryer and beginning to comb a brush through your hair.
"Boy," A voice mused from the doorway- looking through the reflection in the mirror, you saw Stefan leaning against the doorframe and you blushed in embarrassment. "Harsh words from such a loving, affectionate person." He smirked jokingly.
"To be fair," You began, justifying your words with a bashful smile, "He was being a dick."
"True." He laughed, walking up behind you to pull you into a hug, his arms wrapping around your waist- his chin rested lazily on your shoulder as he looked at you through the mirror, "I think those comebacks would have really hit home." He added teasingly, earning a sheepish laugh from you as you squinted in unease- having been caught in the embarrassing situation.
Damon: All of the supernatural drama and turmoil in the small town of Mystic Falls had left 'normal' days seeming like the most prestigious of luxuries. So you took them as they came, and treasured the calm days close to your heart.

You stood in front of the bathroom mirror, applying the last of your facial mask before heading back into your bedroom, curling up with a book as you took your time to unwind and relax- your face remaining a bright green as you let the product dry.
>>
The day seemed to fly by as you became increasingly entranced in your book- losing track of time as you sat leisurely on the soft bed.
"Hey, y/n." Damon called from down stairs, making his way to the room. You hummed a response, being too engaged in your book to reply properly as he half-jogged up the steps.
