-He could not possibly be more protective of you.
-Especially considering you're human.
-In fact, he gets paranoid with the sheer amount of enemies he has running around.
-Inviting you to move to New Orleans with him because,
-"Every King needs his Queen."
-Moving into the Mikaelson Mansion.
-All the Mikaelson siblings love you dearly.
-But none so much as Klaus.
-He's prepared to lay down his life for you.
-Which is a common disbelief considering how power-hungry and selfish he can be.
-He loves to hold your hand, but not just in public.
-When you sleep, you'll face him and curl into his chest, and he'll lace his fingers with yours.
-He'll even grasp your hand in his while your lounging about, watching tv.
-Him calling you 'love'.
-Kissing the back of your hand.
-Attending the Mikaelson ball.
-And him buying you a gown to wear.
-But he never expected you to look as beautiful as you did in it, and it really took him off guard when you descended the staircase.
-"Y/N, my love. You look absolutely ravishing."
-Him smiling at you like you hung the stars in the sky.
-Sometimes you argue.
-But it never lasts.
-Getting extremely angry whenever someone does wrong by you; hurts you or makes you upset.
-You're best friends with Rebekah.
-Being one of the only people capable of keeping him grounded and controlling his outbursts.
-Because he knows you're the voice of reason.
-His raspy-morning voice making you weak at the knees.
-In the mornings, he just looks so comfortable and cuddly that even after you wake up, the two of you stay in bed a while longer.
-He paints portraits of you.
-And you can't help but burst into fits of giggles when you have to sit still while he works on the canvas.
-You're his inspiration for his artwork.
-He takes you on really elegant and clichè dates that you love.
-Typically to really nice restaurants.
-But every now and then, the two of you will escape to the tallest building in New Orleans, and just sit together, watching the bustle of the city as if it were simply there for background noise.
-Both of you laughing as he lifts you up and spins you around in his arms.
-He gets really jealous really easily.
-And on more than one occasion, you've had to convince him not to rip someones throat out.
-But he has the upmost respect for you.
-Because you make him want to change the aspects of himself he's not proud of.
-And forget all the pain he's inflicted in the past.
