I have known Klaus for around about 148 years now, give or take. He puts up a tough front, and comes off as terrifying to most, but buried underneath all of his fury and hatred, lays a great deal of compassion, and warmth that few people have been capable of seeing. Sure, he has committed some questionable acts throughout the years, but I certainly dont love him any less.
He has always been awfully protective of me, if anyone so much as tries to inflict harm upon me, he would take care of them. It isnt one of my faveourite traits of his, as he can occasionally come off as quite possessive, but I can understand why he feels the need to watch over me. I am completely capable of taking care of myself, and he knows that. Its just that he has lost so many people, he once held so dearly to him, that it brings him pain to even think about losing another. The agony that is painted over his deep, blue eyes when he thinks of such things breaks my heart, I could never imagine the amount of hurt that would take over his face if anything were to actually happen to me.

Tyler is still leading his little gang of hybrids, trying to help them break their sire bond to Klaus, honestly, the whole situation is pretty bad, and I'm just doing my best to stay out of it. I took Klaus to the Mystic Grille, its not the most pleasant of places, but he has been really stressed lately, with everything going on, so I figured it might help him cool down, and distract him from the strain of the situation for at least one night.

"Really y/n? The grille?" He protested with a chuckle.

"C'mon! You've been so stressed lately, I hate seeing you like this Nik," I said, looking into his eyes "lets just try to forget about everything for a little while" I smiled

"Alright." He gave in with a smirk. We arrived at the grille and sat at the bar. We ordered a few drinks, and soon began laughing and telling eachother stories. He looked so happy. That make's me happy. The ringing of his phone swiftly interrupted our laughing fit, he took out at his phone, still chuckling slightly from our conversation,

"I'll be right back love." He smiled, kissing my cheek before answering his phone and walking outside to talk. I watched as he walked out of the door, smiling to myself, thinking about how lucky I am to have met this loser, and that I get to call him mine. I love him. I spun back around on my bar stool to take a sip of my drink, only to have my smile quickly fade when I was met with none other than Tyler, sitting next to me.

"y/n." He greeted with a smirk, as he took a swig of his drink.

"Tyler." I greeted back, no emotion showing in my face.

"Everyone in this bar is apart of my pack just so you know. So dont try anything." He warned, I looked around at the other pub-goers, to find that each and everyone of them was keeping somewhat of a close eye on our conversation.

"You do understand that if Klaus knew you were here, he would kill you, right?" I subtly warned him. The last thing I wasnt is a confrontation.

"Thats the thing," He started. "I want him to know that I am here."

"Why would you want such a thing?" I questioned, obviously confused. I started to look back towards the door Nik went out of, praying that he dosent come back in until Tyler leaves with his pack. I know that Klaus wants to 'talk' to him, but he is happy at the moment, stress-free, and I would like it to stay that way for at least a little longer. He deserves some peace for at least one day.

"Because I want to make a trade with him." Tyler smiled.

"What could you have that Nik would possibly be interested in?" I scoffed, turning back toward my drink.

"You." He smirked, before snapping my neck, rendering me unconcious.

**Klaus' POV**

I had only been outside the grille on my phone for, maybe 5 minutes before heading back inside, only to find that the bar was completely empty. All of the patrons had left, including y/n. I immediently began to worry. I rushed over to wear y/n and I were seated. Her drink was still full, and her phone was still sitting on the bar. A sudden rush of panic washed over me as I picked it up and noticed something scribbled on the napkin underneath it. I snatched it up and read it,

Lets make a trade.

The sire bond to be dropped with ALL of the hybrids, for y/n.

-Tyler

I was fuming. This bastard honestly thinks he can do something like this, and still live to see another day? I wasted no time in storming over to the Lockwood mansion, kicking the door off of its hinges,

"Tyler!" I yelled into the house. I would have waltzed right in and ripped out the little brat's heart if I could, but I haven't been invited.

"Klaus, welcome to my humble abode." Tyler announced, smiling, walking into my field of vision.

"Where is she." I demanded, more-so than asked.

"She is still alive if that's what you're asking, for now at least. I don't know how long it takes for the full effects of werewolf venom to kick in." He said with a smirk

"You realise I can heal her you moron." I growled

"That's if she doesn't die before you give me what I want." He smirked, suddenly, y/n was pushed into his arms by another hybrid. She looked weak. My heart felt as if it had shattered into a thousand pieces just by looking at her frail figure. He held her infront of him, with one hand around her waist, and another around her shoulder, keeping her upright, otherwise she might have fallen to the ground, I noticed two bites, one of each of her forearms.

"Release them from the sire bond." He demanded. I was too enraged to even speak a word, so I just glared at him. He tilted her head the the side and sweeped her (y/h/c) hair to fall down her back before he bit into her neck,

"NOO!" I screamed, again trying to get through the door, only to be stopped by the barrier. She cried out in pain as he let her drop to the ground, just infront of the door. Just in front of me.

"I heard that multipe werewolf bites speeds up the process." He stated with a smirk, "In which case, you have about 10 minutes before she dies."

I looked down at y/n with tears beginning to well up in my eyes, my heart breaking more and more with every second I spent staring at her almost lifeless body lying on the ground. I slowly averted my gaze up to Tyler, who sat with a smug look on his face. I stared him down, with mass amount of rage built up in my eyes. He looked scared. He should be. First chance I get, his heart will be ripped out through his chest.

"Fine." I growled through gritted teeth, he smirked at me before slowly walking up to y/n and lifting her up to her feet. She could barely walk. He walked her closer to me, before moving a strand of hair out of her face, and taking one last look at her. I am going to kill him. He ushered her out of the door, and she fell into my arms, I gathered her almost lifeless body in my arms and used my vampire speed to take her into the woods, away from the Lockwood mansion.

I sat her down on the ground, holding her as close as I could. Her breathing was shallow and her eyes were flickering open and closed. I quickly bit into my wrist and lifted it to her mouth, slowly, she began to drink, regaining her conciousness. She stopped, coughing, and turned to look at me, tears staining her face. I pulled her into a warm embrace, tightly wrapping my arms around her waist as hers went around my neck, resting her head on my chest, and mine on her shoulder. We stayed there in complete silence for a while. Only her quiet sobs echoing through the woods. No words were needed to be spoken, to tell eachother how loved the other was.
