Dating Kol- Headcanons

-Sarcasm.

-A lot of sarcasm.

-You have an insane amount of inside jokes together.

-And it annoys the absolute hell out of the rest of his siblings.

-Particularly Klaus.

-They all love you though, regardless.

-In fact, they noticed a change in Kol ever since you began dating.

-And they're very thankful for you.

-Whenever his anger issues flare up, you're the only one who can bring him back down.

-But regularly, he feels bad that you have to put up with him.

-"You know love, your standards are pretty poor."

-"Kol, shut up."

-Even though he has been around for 1,000+ years, he looks to you for advice.

-Because he admires how smart you are.

-And knows he can trust your instinct.

-You're his weakness.

-And everyone knows it.

-Thats why he's very wary of your safety and wellbeing.

-Not to the point of smothering you, but there's not a moment he isn't on guard.

-But he'd never let you know that.

-He looks at you like you're a goddess.

-Because to him, you are.

-It really sickens those around him.

-But he couldn't care less.

-Laughing together.

-Often, you'll sleep barely clothed to combat the Louisiana heat.

-And he'll rub your back while you fall asleep next to him.

-And kiss your forehead before he himself, drifts off.

-"Goodnight, love."

-He wouldn't admit it to anyone else, but he gets really sappy and lovey-dovey with you.

-Teasing.

-When you're upset; he's upset.

-After every time you kiss, he'll keep his eyes closed just a split-second longer and smile to himself.

-Slow-dancing.

-Tickling.

-Both loving and hating his boyish smirk and what it does to you.

-Being best friends with Rebekah.

-And playfully making fun of Kol with her.

-"Rebekah, stop corrupting my dear Y/N with your debauched tales."

-Listening to music together on his ipod; both of you having one earphone each.

-Him loving you like nobody else.

-Because he knows he'll never be as happy as he is with you.
