Ellie's POV

I spun around and threw a pillow at whoever's behind me. Now the best way to attack back, but come on, what was I supposed to do? Jump?

Rory sweat dropped. "Really...?"

"Shut up. Why are you here?"

"I asked first!!"

"I live here."

She sweat dropped again. "You live... in a park...?"

"Yah, you got a problem with that?"

"No, no, that's fine. It fits you, I don't know why I'm so surprised."

"So what are you doing here?"

"Walking home."

"Why so late?"

"BO has random hours, so I never know when I get free time."

The second she said that I could see the regret on her face. I also wish she hadn't brought them up. I had almost managed to forget. Almost. We both looked away.

"Umm... That's not the only reason I came here..."

"What, come to shot me?"

"What?!?! No no no no no no!!!"

"Research your target? Question me? Kidna - " Rory covered my mouth with her hand, almost glaring at me. Once realizing what she was going, she pulled away and gave a sad, apologetic smile.

"Stop. Yes, I was looking for you. Not for any of those reasons."

"Then why? And how did you know to look for me here?"

"That was by honest chance. Your ipod's screen caught my eye, you really need to turn it's brightness down. Your lucky it was me and not some other member."

"Get on with it, why are you here?"

"I... I hacked the BO's computers."

I looked at her again. "You what?!"

"I didn't do major edits for anime plot reasons etc, but they now think you and Conan died. I would advise you to slightly change your appearance, just in case. Just so you know... umm... bye."

She turned to leave. "Wait."

"Yes?"

"I still want to be your friend. I know that the you that killed Jaden wasn't you. It was something else, and I trust you'll never be doing it again. Do... do you agree?"

A small breeze passed through the park as I awaited her answer.

She waved her hand as if to dismiss me. "No, Sophie, I told you to not trust me so easily. You'll just get hurt worse."

"But - "

A stronger wind rocked my hammock so I gripped it's sides to not fall out. When I looked up again, she was gone. "Rory..." I whispered to the darkness.

Rory's POV

I held my breath hoping she wouldn't spot me behind the nearby tree. "Rory..." I didn't answer. If I showed myself again, she would just get too emotional. The sounds of her lying down in the squeaky hammock ended, and I silently snuck away.

Thanks Akako. Without you, I would never be able to find her.

Yes, I had known all along she lived here.
