Hey everyone, have some updates. Sorry it's been a while, I've been having trouble with inspiration again. ^-^"

I feel like these next few chapters aren't really my best, they're kind of... dull. I don't know. Hopefully you like them maybeish?? Trust me, it's very hard to force yourself to write when you don't know what to write about. I tried, I really really did.

Now is also probs the best time to tell you about my new updating schedule. Once a week every Friday (American time because I know some countries are a day ahead and time zone stuff). So yeah, hopefully this will be enough to satisfy you guys and Enjoy!

(Completely unrelated note, but I'm having problems with the ask blog for those of you who follow it. The chapter has been ready for a while, yet Wattpad is being a jerk and won't let me upload any pictures. Anyone else going though this? Know how to fix it?? Really appreciate any help I can get, thanks!! Kloveyoubye!!! )

((Also! Happy first anniversary to undertale!! :D ))

Ellie's POV

Because a minute can't get anyone far, I decide to save my energy and hide instead. The closest place is, of course, Shinichi's house. It's not the best hiding spot, but will have to do for now.

Lucky for me, the gate happened to be unlocked; I really didn't want to try anymore climbing today. Although... I can't help but wonder why it's unlocked. I mean, think about it. Nobody lives in the place and the only people who visit are Ran and Conan when they go to clean the place every few months. There's no way they would forget to close it. Meh, whatever. Maybe I'm just extra lucky today.

I close the gate once more and slip in between the brick wall and a bush. Now to lay low and monolog to myself until Conan gives up.

Which may take a while. I had guessed right - Conan did have his skateboard and is now zipping around the neighborhood, looking for me. It's only a matter of time until he catches on to where I am.

I inwardly sigh, and pull out my ipod and earbuds from inside my pant's pockets. Gogoanime begins loading.

Wait a second.

I reload the page.

A few of the Detective Conan episodes are missing. But, why?

It's probably just a bug in the website. I push the thought aside, opening up to a past episode.

Suddenly, the reason is staring me in the face. Gin and Vodka. They died. And without them, that would change a bit the plot.

I wonder... is there anything else different with the episodes?

I scan through a few more before I start recognising the pattern.

There's some recurring background character that's not supposed to be here - Me. And if I'm in the anime, surely Rory is too.

In the first few episodes I notice this difference, I'm just in the background. No lines, no interactions, no mentionings. I'm just... there.

It wasn't very common for me to pop up because of how I avoided the crime scenes ever since I arrived here, but when it was the Detective boys playing at the park or something I was definitely somewhere.

Then Rory began appearing. Again, nothing big, just kind of watching from the background.

That is, until one episode that wouldn't have existed without us two.

It was a main plot two parter about Jason. (Just wondering, how many of you forgot about him? Admit it, you forgot!)

I got a lot of front and center screen time in the first episode. Conan of course solved the case, then it went on to the second part starring Rory.

I couldn't finish that one. It hurt to see her again like this.

Only a few episodes later, an even worse four parter came up.

The fire.

I couldn't even start that one without crying.

I turned off my ipod, unable to bare it all a second longer.

Fighting the tears, I tried to occupy myself by checking up on Conan. He's still out there, but looks close to giving up. Only now do I notice it's because the sun is about to go down.

I stand up quietly, brushing the dirt off my clothes, ready to head out as soon as he goes back inside, but something catches my eye first.

I can see Shinichi's bedroom light through the window. When did that turn on? Is someone in the house? Who?

Staying low, I sneak over to a bush closer to the house, trying to get a better look. I can just make out the shadowy figure of someone inside the room. I can't tell what they're doing.

The person moves to the window I'm looking up at, and opens it up. They're looking outside. I duck deeper into the bushes to make sure I'm not spotted. My heart is racing, as I list off suspects in my head.

Who would want to be inside Shinichi's house? What would they be doing?

I hear the window slid shut and see the light click off.

I can't help but get the feeling they're still looking outside. Did they spot me?

I wait some more, just incase.

But waiting is boring and I'm too scared to turn my ipod back on, incase they spot it's light. With the sun rapidly disappearing behind the horizon, it wouldn't be hard to.

Finally, in the shadow of night, I leave the cramped space and head home.

My mind races with questions, as always. Why can't I just have one day where everything goes right and there's no mysteries to solve before I go to bed? I hate that lingering fear of something is about to go drastically wrong! But I mean, it's not like my current situation can get much worse...

Can it?
