FIRST IMPRESSION DOES NOT LAST

I,as a registered teacher found out that all jobs are difficult and challenging. The good thing about the BPO industry is that you have your time and no paperworks at home. First impression as a call center agent is that you have all the incentives, easier to have money and easier tasks, right? Kapag agent ka, pagkalog out mo, may huddle lang tapos makakauwi ka na. But how come a teacher like me found it very hard? Hard when you become an employee because trainings are easier and funnier to bear. When you finish the training, there goes the time you will take live calls that you will be doing. There goes the saying "fake it until you make it." I still remember my very first call wherein I encountered an irate customer. I could not understand and spell his name like Muslim name and he shouted at me. He started to give up foul words that made me afraid and cry a lot. I finished the call with strength cause of comfort that my mentor gave me. Second calls onwards until my last call is still as challenging as I expected. But I always understand that we have different personalities in life,we have bad and good sides. I am always looking after the good sides. I always believe that these trials I am facing, two short term employments yet memorable will be used for good at iyon ay sa company na Telus at FIS. I am always praying to God to bless my new company this month so I can stay longer and redeem myself. Lesson is though you have many call center experiences, companies have different policies and structures and you should respect them. They also differ with strategies with their clients. It is not about the popularity, earnings and prosperity of a company,it is about the stability. It is about you being a stable employee no matter how hard it will be. Hold on and keep the faith always. Pray harder and work hard and God will give your dreams in His perfect timing more than you expect. "At the right time, we will reap a harvest of blessing, if we don't give up." (Galatians 6:9)
