"I can't believe I just skipped school!" I shouted, but then laughed afterwards.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I just had fun with Sandro! Seriously, I didn't care earlier that I was with him. Wow, he isn't so bad at all. Manu was right. Sorry for judging, hehe.

"Yeah, we should do it more often!" He said. I looked at him.

"Sandro! I'm not doing it again. I'm dead if my parents find out I'm skipping classes." I said. He chuckled in return.

"I was just kidding. I'm just fulfilling my promise." He said. I nodded in return and looked outside the window. We are currently on our way to school. My classes ended already, but I still have to go there because I left my things and I need to talk to Gavin.

"If Manu didn't ask for a favor, would you still talk to me?" I asked out of the blue. Sandro looked at me and smiled. I guess I know the answer—

"No." He said, casually and resumed to his phone. I rolled my eyes. He's very straightforward.

After a minute, we finally arrived. I payed for the both of us because I'm sure he isn't going to pay for his fair like what happened last time! Seriously, he is so mean to me. We stepped outside. My heart suddenly hammered in my chest. I'm so nervous right now. I'm—

"Are you okay?" Sandro asked. I nodded and smiled.

We went inside school. I even saw Sandro's dad. He just smiled at me. That was awkward. I went to my locker and grabbed my things. I looked at my watch and it's already 5:30 pm. I opened my phone and saw hundreds of messages. As expected, it was all from Gavin. I texted him,

Where are you?

After a minute, he replied.

Gym

I hurriedly walked my way—

"You're just going to leave me here?" Sandro asked, annoyingly.

"Oh, sorry. I'm meeting Gavin. I'm—" I was surprised when he held both my shoulders.

"Why are you so nervous? Calm down." I nodded. Ugh, I can't do this!

I opened my phone once again and dialed my brother's number. After the third ring, he answered.

"Kirby, I'm really sorry." He said. I frowned.

"Why?"

"My boss wants me to go back to London. Something went wrong." He explained. Sadness is visible in his tone.

"It's okay, Kuya. I understand." I simply said.

"I'm really sorry. I'm at the airport now. I need to go, princess. Take care, okay? If you have a problem, call me. I love you." Jasper said.

"I—" I was about to respond, but he hung up. I guess he's just busy. Ugh, so I'm all by myself now?
